Hate saying this, but I think the last thing we need is a bunch more mods who are politically correct and afraid of 'upsetting' a bunch of people. The place needs a bit of a shake up, a wake up call. No offense to you guys but I haven't really seen you jump on the helping BZ bandwagon before. It's only after the mod tag was attached that I started seeing you pop in here. No offense or anything, I'm sure you'll do great but hey, freedom of speech or some shit right.

To be honest there's been so many ideas put forward that there was no need for others (including me) to post because mostly everybody wants the same thing here and we would only be adding to what has already been mentioned and I for one was content with just seeing the outcome. More hands means more gets done, no matter who was chosen, and to say that any of us would be afraid of "upsetting" anyone on the forum is rather presumptuous and unfounded IMO.

The point is even if it's been said, the fact that no one 'agreed' or felt the need to throw their two cents in even if it was only to reiterate speaks volumes. As for me stating that I doubt any of the new mods will be willing to 'step on toes' or 'upset' people it's because due to years of seeing people post you can gauge what their stance is on things. I truly feel that 90% of the mod/admin staff is either awol/mia or exceptionally liberal and politically correct, which is fine and dandy but when everyone is that way it doesn't get a whole lot done. When you have a stereotype of mods/admins that all share common characteristics none of which seem to want to do the dirty job then it grows stagnant. You need some kind of diversity or the same things arise and nothing gets done.

In my opinion, more so for a mod then an admin part of the job is expressing opinions and throwing down the ground work so that the common guy/girl, ie. 99% of this forum has some semblance of an idea as to what's going on. Again pointing out, not one of the new mods even posted in reference to any of it, and just because you're well behaved boys and girls and have been around for a while doesn't mean the position fits. Take it or leave it.

Out of curiosity, Pheno, are there frequent disruptions on this forum? BZ might be one of the nicest forums on the planet. The main disruption I see is spam sometimes..

and i can say by personal experience that i agree with them all.

and those of us that do go against the grain or make a stand when these thigns happen, WE are the oens labled as troublemakers (or worse names) or threathened with being suspended or banned.

True but when she was on, she was insulting, harassing and attacking many of us. I think I was her number 1 target for quite some time and she was relentless with me. I'm just thankful she's gone now.

Oh yeah, I remember. She did seem to chill out for a long, long period of time thereafter so unless I missed something there may have been a reason why the mods didn't contact her.

me and you were targets 1 and 2 (in no particular order). Anabb summed her up best, that is for sure.

all three are spot ON, and aranka tended to go after the same people over and over, and had that been "certian" of us, we'd have been banned LONG ago, also ive posted things that got deleted, yet turn around and have seen another memeber, again no names get away with it, all depends, on the flavor of the month i guess. I love BZ, its a favored past time, but again like pheno said, what goes for ONE memeber should go for us ALL. Yes you have those ubber fans and i am guilty when it comes to LIMA, but i have learned you have to sit back, and just realize, not everyone can love the same model. BUT i will say, alot of bad mouthing goes on her thread, but if one steps out of line its ok, but we can go to Candies thread, and if anything is said, its taken care of proto, or is it just me that see's that???? MOD's/ADIMIN's need to stay inpartical, its not about WHO you like, or WHO is your BFF, but the JOB itself and being FAIR
