This has been said before by myself and another/other members, but a new look for attachments would be nice. I think the thick black framed attachment look we have now can be a bit jarring to look at sometimes. Obviously this is just a feature suggestion, nothing major.

And BIGGER thumbnails too.

And the possibility to upload more than one picture at the time

I'd much prefer something similar to tFS attachment look myself and you can upload upto about 5 images at a time. Or anything better than what we have. It makes topics look so messy and jarring to look at.. It makes me leave some threads almost instantly.

I think the thumbnail we have now is a good size, but the big thick border makes the image so small.

If we had a tiny border for attachments or no border it would be better.

Please tell me that you're really not going to allow the username change, thing?

It would just be chaos. Chaos.

their is no chaos to be, you don't see any chaos in the imdb website or in twitter, you could change your username 24/7 you don't see no chaos either website.

Yes I would love to see bigger thumbail and it would be great if we could upload 10 picture at the same time

Well imdb and twitter are a whole other animal in itself. Bellazon wouldn't do as well with such a setup in my opinion.

I must admit I go for them, but mainly because I always fulfill at least one, so I figure if I make a few at least one is guaranteed to get done . I don't beat myself up for not either though .

I was going to do worst hit songs of the last year, but it was a bit difficult so I narrowed it down to horsement of the mainstream, pop hit music apocalypse of the year...

These were forces that couldn't be narrowed down to just a song

Jennifer Lopez

Songs talking to or about the DJ

Assorted Pop Rock Bands

Justin Bieber

Nicki Minaj

Lady Gaga

White Girl Hip Hop

Autotune (all of the terrible singers that it empowered)

Individual Stinkers of Note

T.H.E.

Till the World Ends

Friday

Party Rock Anthem

Swagger Jagger

Just The Way You Are (Drunk at the Bar)

Heroes (mainstream)

Adelle - helping to save the day

Black Eyed Peas and Kesha - for making less music than the previous year

Joe, I think that I´m losing my interest in modern music more and more each day. I don´t seem to understand most of it nowadays... Adele was the only one that caught my ear.

Recently I´m collecting Dire Straits cds, together with Mark Knopfler solo, and I encountered a CD that was made by Knopfler AND Eric Clapton. Every song has at least 12 minutes and it´s amazing. You can actually feel the music, listen to it, and it does make sense.

Do you know this song called Border Reiver? It´s gorgeous.

Southern bound from Glasgow town

She's shining in the sun

My Scotson Lasing?? Lassie?

On the border run

We're whistling down the hillsides

and tearing up the climbs

I'm just a thiever

Stealing time

In the border reiver

Eight hundred thousand on the clock

And plenty more to go

Crash box and lever

She needs the heel and toe

She's not too cold in winter

But she cooks me in the heat

I'm a six foot driver

But you can't adjust the seat

In the border reiver

"Sure as the sun rise"

That's what they say about the Albion

"Sure as the sun rise"

That's what they say about the Albion

She's an Albion

She's an Albion

The Ministry don't bother me

My paperwork's alright

They can't touch me

I got my sleep last night

It's knocking out a living wage in 1969

I'm just a thiever

Stealing time

In the border reiver

"Sure as the sun rise"

That's what they say about the Albion

"Sure as the sun rise"

That's what they say about the Albion

She's an Albion

She's an Albion

Confession: at a New Year's Eve party, I had so much fun dancing to songs which I usually despise though I still can't get to "Sexy and I know it" like some of my friends do :|

Anyone have any projections for fashion ? I have a good feeling for some reason . At least I like some up and comers but it'll be interresting to see what goes down. It seems there's a lot of pretty young actresses too so I don't know whether that will make it harder for them or not, but of course the fashion industry has overcome worse odds obviously.

Hard Facts About Fashion

Supply and demand (as relates to models) isn't the same as other businesses - the designers, owners, executives ect. impose their will totally based on what they want with a take it or leave it attitude with no regard for projected public reception or wants. If they decide dressing up like mummies is in, then its in. I kindof prefer some middle ground between the two business models and to think my interrests matter at least a little myself, but I kindof respect it in a way since its at least not seeking to focus group us all down to the lowest marketable terms the way other industries seek to.

Some of the girls are really young - with up and coming models, if sensuality is the appeal, make sure to check out that age .

Every model from the 80s and 90s was not a "super" so stop saying your favorite current model "would have been" and there are actually several advantages to being a model today - The super craze was somewhat like the reality craze is now in that a select few were like celebs, but from an untraditional field (as in different from traditional celebs). There's a misconception though that most models from that time were supers and in light of that, I always find it funny some saying Adriana or this one or that one would have been the ultimate supermodel in the supermodel era . Just like you can't say someone from the past would have made this era into that one, it works both ways. There were tons of models even back then that looked just as good and were even more versatile that weren't supers. For every current 'would have been' there was one who looked just as good or was just as versatile who not only wasn't but was known by even less people than said current top model is now anyway. Though that era is over, if you aren't among the absolute top percentile, there are many advantages to being a model today verses the past. For one thing, the average pretty face in a magazine that no one knew fifteen years ago has an fmd.com and several threads today and is thus known by way more people. The internet and technology have probably made it better to be B list or lower than ever. They may not be on the red carpet, but top models are still really well known and making a lot of money.

Its the only entity in entertainment where gay men can dictate what's hot for a woman - there are some extremely creative and talented gay men out there and their opinions aren't less valid in general, I just think that's an interresting irony to keep in mind though .

Just because you don't have to be a genius to do it (or even talk now a days), doesn't make you dumb either - there's an unfair stereotype that models are dumb. Its somewhat akin to the old athlete stereotype. The truth is, the profession has nothing to do with how smart you are. Some models are very intelligent and some even keep up a high grade point average while having basically an adult work load.

Nice of you to be so diplomatic though!

^Gay men seem to be able to criticise women with relative impunity in all manner of fields; it's a curious thing. It's not just straight men who can't say such things, but other women too. They can call a girl fat and everybody will nod sagely (or laugh nervously), as opposed to the fury that would follow should you or I say it...

I find this very refreshing. Fashion is an art for everyone, there are many kinds of models or designers that can appeal to different kind of people. I love the creativity of them.

Some of the girls are really young - with up and coming models, if sensuality is the appeal, make sure to check out that age .

Don´t even need to tell me about this - once you see a gorgeous girl and the other time you find out she´s 15 - and step back

I think I´m gonna hit the next one who tells me this - I´m just all over such a bullshit. By the way, good and successful model must be a good business woman, so don´t they dare to tell me about dumbness... everyone thinks modeling is the easiest profession in this world. They mostly have no idea what is modeling about.

Well, it was worth a shot . I guess among top models it usually is . People also try to use it as a way of consoling themselves about why a B to D list model they like isn't as popular as they think they should be. They'll say, "well that's because there's so many agencies now" or something. Of course my logic is the more agencies there are, the greater the chance of becoming a model in the first place .

^Gay men seem to be able to criticise women with relative impunity in all manner of fields; it's a curious thing. It's not just straight men who can't say such things, but other women too. Yeah, they definitely have more freedom there, maybe even more than some women . Some can even say the b**** word and women just laugh along with them whereas of course a straight man saying it would have a problem on his hands . At first I found it somewhat odd that a gay Asian man would be the casting director for VS, but it probably goes back to the art over supply and demand thing.

Yeah, I guess its only natural for me to say I wish they'd do this or that, but at the end of the day I respect them more for going by what they feel rather than marketing and profit only. Of course they make enough of a profit anyway, so it works out for them .

Don´t even need to tell me about this - once you see a gorgeous girl and the other time you find out she´s 15 - and step back

But where you step back, Pedo Bear persues

I think I´m gonna hit the next one who tells me this - I´m just all over such a bullshit. Yeah, its definitely not an easy thing by any stretch. Even though being (a good) actress takes more talent, some make like one movie a year whereas to be an in de mand model you may be traveling here and there, possibly even having to be at least competant in languages you've never learned on your own, catering to the egos of designers who fancy themselves artistic legends in their own time and so on. The greatest sacrifice of course being rich without living it up on the food end. I can't imagine having such discipline. Ribs, bacon (sorry Piggy), pizza, ice cream, skrimps, steaks, cookies, decadence, abandon, delight, ummmmmm .
