^ I agree..to a point.

Because that screws any model that isn't popular with the press.

Models who are insanely popular in HF won't have as much as a VS model. So the sub-forum will only be VS models, like now. Which I think is unfair to the HF fans.

Yes true, it would be an unfair to those who are not VS models and get less press than others, even though they are still very famous.

Each choice for a subforum will (if they ever decide to change them) all have to be taken into consideration on weather they it would be good for them to have a subcatagory.

I guess that would be a good one. I take it you're going to see the Star Wars in 3D ? Its interresting how there's always the Star Wars vs. Star Trek debates. I guess they obviously don't mean in numbers as the trekies can't compete there, but if you compare the most hardcore of the fans to each other, I must admit that the trekies that actually learn those languages might take the cake. That's not to say the Star Wars people camping out on the pavement is an easy feat either of course.

Hey guys, just wanted to give a quick update:

The subforum-issue is in discussion right now. Can't give you a trend yet.

My personal opinion on the matter is that neither do we need more subs nor should we get rid of older more inactive ones. Although I did express the need for at least Casta got one in the past, I now don't have the feeling it would better to navigate nor prevent reposts.

Laetitia Casta 960 pages

Doutzen over 800 I think

Candice 510

It's like the BZ sub forum is stuck in 00's even the end of the 90's with Adriana & Gisele!

It's funny because Bz is online since what? 5 Years?

Laetitia never had a sub forum because some of the mods and administrators at the origin of the forum were fans of... Mmmm... Gisele & Adriana &Alessandra & well all the girls in the sub forum! No fans of Laetitia in the BZ team! And even after the many demands for a Laetitia sub forum the answer was always: no. 200 pages? NO. 300? NO. 500? NO! 1 million? No, now stop asking our we call the police!

by the way WHO are the administrators of BZ? The creator of the beast?

Indeed, i've thought that for a little while. A new fresh look wouldn't go a miss

Ranodm one of the lists .

Things I disagree with many members about

10. I don't think Doutzen is too buff, although I'm not a fan of her body anyway so I can't complain too much I guess .

9. I don't think rock is superior or even better than other genres of music .

8. I don't like Kate Moss and am not attracted to Natasha Poly at all, but think its unfair for them to bear the whole weight of all bad feelings that relate to thinspiration.

7. I don't think not going to the army or having a psycho thread has made Bar any worse looking .

6. VS and SI aren't one of the top 5 things I love about fashion .

5. I love Emily's face for the eyes and lips, but don't think its 'perfection'. I dislike her side profile and smile quite a bit .

4. I like basketball more than soccer.

3. I like curves, but don't think they make you represent 'real women' more than any other kind of body. Even aside from making no sence to me at face value, they wouldn't even represent the average female body of the world anyway. There's over a billion Chinese people for example and most of their women don't have what we would call curvy bodies. Are they less 'real' than any other nation? Common people.

2. I don't agree with most of the flavors of the month that have come along, though many were gone quickly enough for me to not really worry about it.

1. I don't believe in patronizing a latin woman you think is less beautiful by breaking out the whole "exotic" and "classical" mumbo jumbo .

The only problem I have with this post is all the ninja emotions. Don't hide Joe, Fight the power and be proud and true to yourself!

I like 'Wars and 'Trek to be fair - though 'Wars wins in my affections. Then again, I have had sex and don't live in my parent's basement so who am I to comment on their relative awesomeness!

^Btw, as we're (tangentially) on the subject - I just saw the lovely Marina Nery dressed up as a sixties Star Trek babe (you know, when they didn't have the prosthetics - so just winged it on make-up and some shiny materials) at Sao Paulo Fashion Week:

I'd be inclined to go for that in some Kirk-esque 'sexual buccaneer' way!

Well, I'm definitely not going but I know some who are excited. Actually I always found the prequals overrated in general, but you did inadvertently almost talk me into it one time by saying how it felt to hear the music on the big screen. Yeah, still not going, but I hope those that do have a good time of course.

LOL , they both can kindof creep me out although I must admit there's some strange charm in a girl with even slightly above average looks doing it for some reason.

I guess the irony is that I couldn't have been too worried about offending if I said it, but then I guess I do care a little. Or rather I would hope that they wouldn't be offended even though I would still say it again if I were to do it over .

Thanks ! As to the girl, I've seen her before but wouldn't have known where to find it, so thanks again . She is quite...talented isn't she :morning: ?

She's definitely an interresting one . On one hand, she has some commercial cuteness while on the other hand her really big ears and eyes make her stand out enough to do well in high fashion. I'm really curious to see what kindof editorials she gets.

I guess I'll slowly bend on some of those . For one...

Favorite Ignored Post

In a place where people can repost a pic or video literally right under your post, you can be sure that they can miss words just the same. Of course, its not too unlike our everyday lives as through not listening, some people can restate what you just said like its an original thought or even to counter what you said. Well, that could be overly optimistic. They could just either be dullards you wasted your time on or just didn't care enough to listen too. Either way, of course I like a lot of mine or else I wouldn't have said them . I also like a lot that had to be deleted in the line of duty . That aside, even though I don't think it was intended to be funny necessarily, this is probably my favorite ignored post in general.

Hm, I´d like to know why where the original subforums made (I´m gratefull for Gisele one, and Ale) - and what would be the circumstances under which would be the new subforums made?

Fame? Pages? HF / commercial work?

amount of fans and worshippers?

Top 10 WTFs of Anime and Manga

Disclaimer: That is to be interpreted as all of these contained in all or that all contain even one. That said, there's a whole lot of anime and manga out there and combined, they have more of a combination than probably any other animated industry.

Anime is pretty awesome. Finding the right show isn't always easy, but when I have its usually been gold. They have some of the most unique hand drawn art in the industry and some have some of the best writing in comics, cartoons and the entertainment industry as a whole. They contain great action, life lessons, multi dimensional characters, deep themes and even well timed comic relief. That said, there's some pretty weird stuff scattered throughouth.

10. Busty preteen and early teen girls - Here in America, the fact that our animal growth hormone filled, processed foods have resulted in us starting puberty at 8-10 now and that 12 year olds with Marisa and even Lucy Pinder sized boobs are the result is somewhat of an embarassing and taboo subject. As a result, you'll almost never see one on television for two reasons. One, so everyone else doesn't have to know about them and two, to avoid them having creepy fanbases. That said, anime has embraced the idea big time.

9. Really busty regular teens with skimpy clothes - extra large boobs with fifteen inch waists and upskirts aplenty.

8. That some of the previous sound like they have little kid voices.

7. Mostly white societies with people speaking Japanese - there's a saying that white and black people are almost everywhere speaking almost every language. I'm sure there are some here and there in Japan. That said, a parallel universe of white people with huge eyes with Japanese names, speaking Japanese, living in Japanese houses ect. is a pretty trippy experience.

6. Super creepy androgynous villains - not only are these guys and or girls super creepy in terms of their agenda, actions and words, but it seems the writer really takes sport in you trying to guess whether its a man or a woman. They'll usually either look kindof like a woman with gender neutral clothes with a semi deep voice or various combinations. Think Its Pat joined to the dark side of the force.

5. No subject is off limits.

4. A spot for unexplainable randomness.

3. In light of the last two, you never know what is going to happen.

2. Small children getting killed in brutal ways.

1. Perhaps the biggest wtf is the fact that one can incorporate these things and still have the nerve to be well written. Characters you think are soulless might suddenly save the day and spend two minues tearfully explaining their childhood, there might be random mysteries, symbollisms, life lessons and all the things that make for a good story. A situation may be dark and heavy and well timed comic relief might come to give just a little breathing room. They have some of the most talented and creative writers and artists in the world, so when they're on, they're really on.

I've always tried to be pretty opened minded on most things. However i've never understood the obession with Manga and Anime I guess it has the same theory as Marmite...you either love it or hate it Then again i have never been into comics full stop. I have noticed though that it does tend to be something that Asians and black people are into then any others. Not entirely sure the reasoning behind this to be honest

Have you got a favourite Joe? I've only really seen a handful, relatively speaking, but probably none has stuck with me more than Neon Genesis Evangelion - that really was a beautifully realised series, especially the movie that wrapped it all up.

I don't know how everyone else feels about this, however i am starting to feel that obtaining you're own thread these days seems to becoming easier then making a cup of tea. Thus making it less of a privilege to the members that are lucky enough to be rewarded with such a honor I truly feel it should be a more exclusive list. I find there are plenty of members threads that haven't been active for a number of months now, this in my opinion shouldn't be the case. Threads like these in my mind should be dedicated to those who have shown more dedication to the forum and have earned it. For example they should be given to members who have posted over a certain number of posts or have a high average post per day rate and are clearly a valued member amongst the community who have contributed to the forum. Without naming no names but there does seem to be a handful of threads that are not deserving of such a luxury. Visa Versa again naming no names but there are also a handful of members who do deserve a thread dedicated to themselves and don't have one.

In no means am i suggesting that the Admin's/Mods are doing a bad job. I certainly wouldn't want to be perceived as provoking or challenging the Hierarchy. On the contrary i am trying aid them. I just feel maybe the rules could be tightened up a bit

Just because someone has thousands or ten thousands posts doesn't make him more important than any other member. I definitely do not care how many posts someone has or if I ever get a own thread because I simply do not care nor do I want one. This is a fun forum, just the internet and if someone feels like there's a member who should get a own thread then so be it. Even if latter member only has 10 posts. As long as they are happy about it.

I feel you've somewhat missed my point. I wasn't insinuating those who have less number of posts to their name have less to offer the forum. I was simply pointing out that in order to avoid having a large number of inactive threads to the names of people whose visits are fleeting. They should maybe give them to those who have shown more dedication to the site and have a high number of post count or average post per day.

Personal threads are dedicated. Someone wants to open a thread for another member and the staff considers the suggestion and decides on democrate basis. However, there are no such rules like number of posts or how active someone is. It's rather a matter of general behaviour and personality. If you think someone deserves his or her own thread, you can contact the staff about it
