Because uhmmm, I thought the grouphug emoticon had 3 "people" only but then I saw the post and saw 4 but I had to log out and forgot to edit my post Plus, what's a hug from me when you have a whole BZ harem (with OpheliaImmortal and AnaBBarrosFan, and a few more ) fighting for you
^Because Wednesdays I only have eyes for you!

Wednesday's over now

^Well, that post was yesterday. If it's any consolation, I've moved on too... <_<

I'm a big AFL fan donbot - I hadn't realised until reading this page that we were apparently so annoying? I tell you, I've attended far more ill-mannered sporting events...

(Looking forward to seeing the first week of finals here, now that I've finally got ESPN+ which shows it in Argentina! No more Trans World Sport nonsense for a 2-minute round-up at stupid o'clock on a Saturday morning for me.)

Ok Joe, so I have no idea if Joan Rivers was ever known for a good style (in clothing, that is) but everytime I see a tv commercial on E! about "Fashion Police" I'm like :| btw, do you watch E! often? Anyway, I have to say Joan's creepiness (I mean...look at that face ) plus her comment about Meryl Streep's outfit "I love it so much, it looks like my grandmother's couch" (or at least that's what I think she's saying) makes me laugh

&did you hear about this 14-year-old Brazilian girl who is 7 feet tall already?!?! :|

haha, its funny you bring that up because I was just talking about this girl being 5'11 at 14 http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?sho...32#entry2289908 and this girl is 7 feet :| . I hope she gets whatever treatment she needs and hopefully with the story being well known someone with money will donate. She said her dream is to become a model, at least she's way way cuter than the world's tallest model you showed me .

Yeah, that, soccer and hockery are all growing on me and all could place. Of course AFL would have a better chance of beating those if... A) Someone would explain the rules to me and B) The fans didn't annoy me so much . Hopefully I'll meet some better ones to bring them down the list but from what I've met so far, the second most annoying (not to mention the annoyance of even accidentily clicking on one of their sites/forums ) to me next to MMA fans (though I'm an MMA fan). Well, no MMA second...

lol, more annoying than these guys?

Well that's too bad that you've had those experiences, because at its best it's just a really hardass, fast and exciting sport

Is it watchable in America?

Of course there's loads of rules, but the gist of it is:

- Two legal disposals of the ball once you have possession: kick (ball dropped from hands to foot) or handball (ball held in one hand and punched with the other)

- If you run more than 15m with the ball you have to bounce it or touch it on the ground

- If the ball is kicked at least 15m and caught without hitting the ground or being touched, it's called a mark.

- The player who marks the ball can't be tackled until they move off their position

- If the ball is kicked between the large goal posts without being touched it's a 6 point score (called a goal)

- If the ball goes over the goal line having been touched (not kicked) by a player, hitting the goal post or going through the small goal posts, it's a 1 point score (called a behind)

Best marks of last year:

Best goals of last year:

Big hits of last year:

No? <_<

Wow, that horn :| .

It all seems very clear the way you explained the rules, great job (Y) . I really enjoyed the highlight too . And it can be seen here, but not with regularity, but mostly at random times on one of the bonus ESPNs. Now I must admit its technically unfair to rank the annoyance of fans because that's all I know of them whereas I know all sides (as people in general life) of the annoying fans of sports I'm more used to, if that makes sense (although you're not so bad of course ). But that said, that gave me a lot to think about for my updated list, though the next step of course is to see a game in its entirity, but before I update it, what do you think about the current list ?

I understand where you're coming from. Annoying/fanatical/obnoxious/etc fans can be really off-putting. But despite them all, Bar Refaeli is still hot, and AFL is still a great sport

Your list is interesting.. curious though - did you rank them from a spectator point of view, or actually taking part yourself (or both)? Not a fan of [non-table] tennis I take it?

^I 'barrack' for Carlton! During my (very brief) period of cosy domesticity, I was married to an Aussie and lived in St. Kilda - however, as anyone with any passing knowledge of the origins of Fratton will tell you, it is nigh on impossible for me to utter any sort of support for the 'Saints' :yuckky: !!! But, in an effort to acclimatise, I decided to throw myself into the AFL and nailed my colours to the Carlton mast - after picking up a Anthony Koutoufides card in a packet of Clinkers!

I went to all their Melbourne games that season (all the way to the semi-finals) and saw my favourite player have his best year, and pick up an award too. I've followed them ever since... 'Carn the Blues!'

And whilst I'm well aware this is Joe's thread (<are you keeping well, my friend? ) I wonder if I can ask you the same question?

Hey you missed the Joan Rivers part of the post

Yeah and that's really scary, because she is just 14! So she still has time to grow up. Ugh, I really hope she gets a treatment.... but even if she stopped growing up now, being 7ft tall for the rest in your life must be painful But I know we had a basketball female player here who was 7'2ft

And that bikini tall model, lol I don't think she has ever done more than that phooshoot I showed you once, honestly

Clinkers

Blues.. phew. I'm glad you didn't say Collingwood. I've been a loyal Eagles fan since I was a kid, and I remain so despite just having endured our worst ever season.

Can we have Judd back?

Hawks are my #2 team. I was so stoked they dug themselves out of the hole they were in and were able to make the finals

^Judd's revitalised that team - it was a bad few years back there! Yeah, hate the Magpies too - so at least we can bond over that!!!

Is this your car parked illegally across 4 parking stalls Mr. Average? If so, we'd like to talk to you downtown.

Congrats vanessaaa of course its not too much rant for me, I can dish and take , but congrats ! Guys, I was gone towards Mexico for a few days and didn't have steady connection in free time, plus lost my plug so trying to preserve my charge until I can get a new one, so sorry for the late reply . There's a little connection where I'm at here on the way back, but I'll respond to all when I get back .

Oops, I forgot what I was going to say at first because I was distracted by the 7 foot girl thing . I hope she gets treatment and lives a happy life and can play basketball . That other one actually looked like a man with implants whereas this girl is actually kindof cute . The women in my family love E! news, though I try to avoid entertainment news because I dont like knowing any more than I have to about famous people . But Joan creeps me out too and I never heard anything about her being admired for her fashion sense and has definitely never been a fashion icon, but then most film critics have never set foot on a film set I guess and I must admit I do think she's pretty funny . I also found out she used to do standup and was actually pretty good . Better than many actually .

Well, its not mine...I stole it , but the people who would have parked there were probably up to no good anyway, so I think I deserve a pass :morning: .

Pretty good, eh?

Awww, how cute ! Keep me updated .

Haha, it's ok

Joan is so creepy she makes me laugh

Do you watch VMAs, Joe? I remember I could watch them live last year (I mean, in front of my tv, but as a live broadcast at around 3 AM :morning: ), but thought it would be boring, and then the next day it was all about Kanye/Taylor and Lady GaGa's performance so I watched a rerun the next day. But as for this year, I doubt it will be entertaining your thoughts?

I'm not expecting much . To tell the truth, I can't think of much worth rewarding (that is of course within the range of the artists likely to be nominated) I seem to watch it every year, but ironically don't have many fond memories .

Yeah, I like regular tennis, just like table more . And as to the spectator or taking part, well...actually all based on fun playing . I didn't think about it until now :| . So in actuality paint gun is probably the real # 1 .
