The tallest girlfriend I had was 6'0 or slightly taller, but I've never had one tall as or taller than me, but I still would like to date a taller woman, though I wouldn't say its a personal mission necessarily and like short too. But either way, only a small % of men are 6'10 or taller (and of course she'll probably be 7'0 so I should say 7'1 or taller). That leaves a pretty small dating pool if she's meant to only date in that range. So if men are supposed to be taller than women, that would mean a short woman deserves more opportunities or possibilities for a soul mate, love and a fulfilling romance than a tall woman. Why should a super tall woman not have the right to at least persue the same opportunity as 'regular'. Does her heart not pump blood just the same? Does she not feel and need just the same? There might be someone out there perfect for her that's 7'0 or there may be someone perfect out there for her who's 5'5. Sure it may look funny, but what's looks to true love? Does looking 'right' in public keep you warm at night or soothe your fears or encourage you when you need? Or does a loving companion, whatever height they may be. So yeah, it may not be romance novel cover worthy and it may get a few giggles walking down the street, but I'll say this, a lot of things worth having come with a little challenge, but if you can get love out of the deal, its more than woth it :morning: .

Also, in AFL and hokey, do they have stat geeks that do this thing (how do I explain?...) where they excitedly give really specific stats for things that don't really come together to make a great performance ?

NFL Example: "First player in NFL history to kick an extra point, throw a pass and return a punt for 15 or more yards"

NBA Example: "First player in NBA history to score 20 points, 7 rebounds, shoot 90% from the free throw line and have no fouls"

Not trying to knock their achomplishments but I just find this extremely lame for some reason . Do commentators and stat geeks do this in AFL and hokey ?

@Berno&Limer- yess!! i saw a glimpse of Edita and was like ,Adri did look indeed amazing (i swear she's only gotten hotter since having her baby) & i agree, im not a fan of crazy-ass Naomi either but she looked damn amazing, especially in that gold shimmery dress! As a tall girl, I need to say I observed a height difference is a much bigger problem to men I mean, obviously most girls want to date a taller guy. But there was this guy some time ago I really liked, and he said he wouldn't date a girl who is taller than him. And he was just 4 cm shorter than me. smh

Haha I have a question for you tall guys. Do you also seem to slouch while you are with others, (mainly) shorter people? Or stay in a way that would make you appear shorter?

Well...slouching is somewhat subcoscious for me because part of my family is Mexican and the 'Mexican looking' for lack of better term are short whereas us on the black side are all tall (even the women), so...yeah... ...

oh & speaking about the black model thing...im OBSESSED. like OBSESSED with magazine's and i put the cuttings on my wall, and i realised i only have 2 diffeent black models on my wall...my dear Emanuela && a small one of Naomi when she did that campaign with claudia schiffer...etc. its so rare to see black girls modeling for big companies, makeup ad's...whatever, apart from maybe Alek Wek (who im sorry, i really dislike her) . It really sucks colour is beautiful.

Haha, maybe most male models are (much) shorter? Idk, I'm not into male modelling, so idk what's the average, or most desired height for a male model (I'm sure Lyon knows). Although for a female model 178cm is perfect, I think most top models are shorter than that so yeah, maybe your ex fel awkward being taller than others.

Not at all, for me it shows a lack of confidence? And makes other people feel as though you're unhappy with your height..I'm a lot taller than most of my friends (especially the girls ), but i have got two good guy friends that are the exact same height. So we chill it high up :blueeyedbaby:

There's certainly a lot of stat geekage thrown about, which a lot of the time is pretty tenuous. I've never heard anything quite like those examples though
