Guys, what do you think about Jirka´s new princess drawing - Rapunzel? She reminds me of Amanda Seyfried, which I love, lol

and little bit of Dakota Fanning.

flaming bananas... I think I remember reading about such recipe, lol.

Didn´t know about Doutzen and Jac... I love such adventurous souls and Daria, can you imagine her ocean trip? I´m not much into ocean trips, rather stay on the ground and explore woods, but still, it must have been amazing.

You´re a big fan of Jac, aren´t you?

I can't really, just like I can't imagine Anja Rubik swimming with sharks (yes, recently she said swimming with sharks is her hobby...)

Be careful Jennka, Jac is Monika Jagaciak's nickname. Although I like Monika, I like Anna Jagodzinska (Jaggy ) more. She is my favourite model, too bad she doesn't like doing runway shows, so recently she skipped fashion weeks

Dunno...e.g. you could tell me precisely what these support stuffs do

Well, the DOD & the armed forces are a 1.5 Trillion dollar industry so there is quite a lot...

The other 90% + (Marines, Army) of the ground forces- of a typical self contained fighting division.. deal with tasks such as military engineering, military intelligence, logistics and supply chain, artillery, transport, medical services, etc. Most soldiers never fire a shot in anger- and I'd probably guessestimate that only a few points % actually do.

I find Monika Jagaciak to be exceptionally beautiful....and in fact, I like all of the big polish models a great deal.

Swimming with sharks? But, why not... I don´t really think they would want to eat her - there´s no much meat there, is it?

Oh, I thought you like Monika more she is wonderful, really amazing. I love her eyes and delicate features

I think I get it. It´s like in any other company - all this paper work and planning.

So, I heard that it's Slovak tradition to throw a spoonful of the Christmas meal up to the ceiling - and that the longer it stays there then the better this coming year's harvest... Did you? And does it bode well?

This discussion reminds me of several military men I know.

For the most part, an army that has a smaller 'tooth' (front line combat strength) tends to be more sophisticated and organizationally/technologically advanced than the others. In WW2, for instance, it was typical to see divisions that were 40-60% 'tooth' (with Soviet, German, and Japanese @ 50-60% and American & Western Allies @ 40-45%). The tooth shrank again in Korea and it's been going down ever since. By the 1970s, it was down to 10% or so for the American army in Vietnam. In Iraq, it was 9%. In Afghanistan, it's probably even lower. This is, all in all, typical for armies of the wealthiest countries. Preserving the lives of overseas personnel is considered essential so the emphasis shifts towards high tech precision weapons, military intelligence, speed, and technique.

This is why you see situations where American troops can politically occupy a country for years...and lose 25-30 times fewer lives than everybody around them...
