Feliz cumpleaños, Señor Baron!

A very happy birthday to the wittiest and most eloquent four-year-old I know.

Many thanks for all the birthday wishes - the physical absence of my most favourite ladies (and fictional alien species that still leave me curious!) notwithstanding, I had a wonderful day. Saturday finds me slightly worse for wear though...

I do so like little ditties in my honour and, naturally, any opportunity to look at my coterie! And Michael*, you're right - give me a few more years and I'll even outshine Doogie Howser, M.D!

She's only a filthy Magpie, donbot - but do you reckon we can let that slide?!!

Eww :yuckky:

I need to find Nicole Trunfio or Pania Rose in an Eagles guernsey to balance it out

So I'm pretty much going to hell, might as well have a good laugh while I'm at it.

^We can count Megan Gale as a Blues fan, if that means much? Personally, I'd love to attend a game with Aurelia Gliwski if we're squiring Aussies here!

I suddenly notice I'm the only one that answers all posts in the same post, is that bad etiquetteor something and you guys just don't say anything because of my new powers ? I know you said you didn't know how to do the other, but now that there's more threads I notice I'm the only one. Don't afraid to speak up of course, I only abuse my powers for good not vendictiveness . That said, I saw these guys on the "One Hit Wonder" show and was determined to find another song I liked by the artists on the list and I liked this one as much as their (Iron Butterfly's) hit. I was determined to find other songs for those I didn't know since I've always thought that promoting ect. maybe had something to do with it and that there was at least one song as good that didn't have the chance maybe.

...couldn't help the "Black Velvet" chick, "We Can Dance" guys, "Funkytown" chick or "Electric Avenue" guy so far though .

Interresting :| . I knew that Jimi Hendrix wasn't received well over here and then got big over there and the opposite for some of the bands of that time. I'll try again to find more songs by the Jamaican gentleman. I was wondering with the all in the same post thing more specifically whether it was just plain hard on the eyes or not , because I'm not the one reading it obviously . But I don't mind the conversation jump in thing at all even though I haven't done it here or other places because I didn't know what everyone else thought ironically . But good to know you don't mind then, so I can start doing it . Ironically another reason I don't visit big model/celeb threads much is because I'm often told to "stay on topic!". Not that I want to discuss the weather, but if I ask who the designer is and then someone responds so and so, the one that did this and you respond 'great, I loved that one' then the On Topic Police just come out of nowhere . So yeah, long story short, I don't mind since I apparently can't stay on topic myself .

^Funnily enough I find such 'off-topicness' a very humanising aspect of BZ, and why I'd never be able to get on at tFS! I think, at least, that it shows you engaging with a previous post and finding it sufficiently arresting for you to make a comment.

What I intensely dislike is this 'race' aspect in which nobody bothers to acknowledge anybody else's posts in some sort of attempt at oneupmanship in terms of posting first. What's the point? I also really dislike it when somebody reposts something in better quality, or adds extra shots to an existing ed/runway, but doesn't have the decency to namecheck the original poster. I just thought stuff like that was good manners... 1062wine.gif

For me the community aspect is what sets this forum apart - and I love it when people do join in conversations or recognise and comment on each others likes/dislikes - often on completely unrelated threads. It shows we're paying attention, have friendships, and actually care what's going on here.
