Oh no, "Bidding has ended..." Was it you?

As 'Item specifics' go - that takes some beating! Although perhaps unduly harsh on Alison Moyet:

Alison Moyet - Alf. She sounds a bit like Alf, too. and she has a face like a potato. A sh*t potato
A+

Sadly, my masterplan was completely foiled as I lost out on the Vauxhall Astra I was bidding on as well (I needed a car boot from which to flog the records to pensioners). Can't win 'em all, eh?

Baron, is there any chance I could briefly borrow your expertise on the Argentine Primera Liga? I'm having trouble grasping how River Plate managed to get themselves relegated off the back of finishing 4th in the Apertura and 9th in the Clausura.

^Because it's averaged over three seasons - but you're not near enough alone in being perplexed (or asking me about it!). Ironically the system was set up this way in the mid-80's in order to prevent the big two teams (River Plate and Boca Juniors) getting relegated as they were both pretty shit back then... Hah - hoisted by their own petard!

As it is I'd need to sit and write an essay to fully explain the oddities of our league. But in short: all your finishes are counted out over three seasons (continually rolling) and the two teams with the worst finishes are relegated and the two best from Primera B are promoted. However, the worst two teams that season - plus the two best from B - then go into a 'round-robin' playoff situation like the English league. But vagaries can arise when these teams happen to overlap - meaning it can be 2, 3 or 4 teams going up and down each time! 17433.gif

Baron what did you think of the wedding? Do you think that it is possible Charlene wanted to escape the country 3 times? :| then again, it was rumoured that the wedding costed 40 million Euros, so I guess you can't just change your mind in the last moment...
^It was rather odd - Albert looked like he was chewing gum, and was winking at people as he walked down the aisle! Mainly I had it on as the baby in the hotel room next-door had awoken me from a red wine and calvados stupor at stupid o'clock and I used it as a soporific tool to drown out it's wails and send me back off. Didn't work.

Did it again next morning too. But had else to entertain me!

I heard talk that Caroline was press-ganged to the church or something? That she'd been intercepted trying to leave??? Scurrilous rumours all, I'm sure...

Yeah, his expressions seemed to say "oh come on Charlene, it can't be THAT bad to marry me" and "why this drama? You knew I had illegitimate child(ren) but hey, you'll be a Serene Highness of Monaco now".... However I did enjoy watching who came as the guests for the ceremony (and commenting on their clothes), although I tried to avoid listening to this awful Fashion TV commenter the lady sounded like she was after a few margheritas and was at least half a minute late with translation.

^I saw it in french - a language which I don't speak - but it was better than the screams even if I didn't understand it at all. I saw Karl Lagerfeld dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld and Sarkozy going 'stag'! Yeah, I meant Charlene - that's me mixing her name up with Albert's sister Caroline, plus Cult Icon leading me astray!

A video of your boeregirl:

Have you ever thought about learning afrikans? Maybe this would make her to notice you.

^Are you implying that she wouldn't notice me otherwise? <_<

Hah, well met Facoquer - thank you for that, and I'm honoured that you thought of me and posted in here. Seen you around Behati's thread - what else takes your interest here? Actually, I have a couple of cousins who were brought up in South Africa - so maybe they can furnish me with some "sweet nothings" at least?!! :brows:

Ah I see, thanks Baron!

The ins and outs of the Argentine league have always escaped me - even a marathon game of Championship Manager '99 (as Argentinos Juniors, the former club of one of my old footballing heroes, Julio Arca) left me none the wiser back in the day. But it all sounds rather chaotic - I envy the poor fool responsible for working out the repercussions of each match about as much as I envy Prince William's bum lookalike, which is to say, not at all.

Imagine the situation. You are on holidays in... idk... Milan. After a long tourist journey in the city you come back to the hotel to rest a bit just before the dinner . The hotel is huge and has a lot of flats. You are in the lift waiting the doors to close. Suddenly Behati appears and runs into the lift :hell yea!: (she is working in Milan these days). She pushes the button and you notice she is accomodated at the same floor as you . You know you have 20 seconds before the lift stops . Both of you are alone and you know it is your chance. What do you do?

a) Strike up a conversation in english. She will know you are only another drooly and nuisance guy. She will be afraid all time long. Another conversation like this and she will call the police in order to arrest the pervert. ( )

b) Strike up a conversation in afrikans. "Damn! That's awesome! An afrikans-speaker argie! Where did you learn it? Why did you learn it? I'm going to dinner in 30 minutes would you mind going with me? I don't know anybody here and I feel so lonely... BTW I've noticed you need some practice to improve your speaking fluency. I can give you some private lessons in my room, you know... *blink* *blink* " ( )

Nah, just to say hi. I don't know why are you waiting so much before asking them for some classes.

Her name is Charlene and I see Naomi Watts resemblance here but usually she reminds me of Charlize Theron. They are both South Africans, too!

yes, :-) I was thinking of Caroline when I was talking about that. Yes, I see it- alittle. It seems to me that if Naomi and Jodie merged they would look like Charlene

Check this out, Miss Layla: profile comparisons!:

^Why of course I know that - what kind of uncultured fool do you take me for? <_<

He seems to have taken after his father in the looks department though...

Yes, I fully expect to see Caroline telling us all off for not spending our 'free' time setting up charity galas and black-tie events whilst rasing thousands for whatever is the cause du jour. She's a role model for us all.

They're on the poor side as far as billionaires go, . Outside of models, I'm a fan of athletic women:

^Hey! Do you guys call those 'chop-socky' films too? :jimmy:

(By the way, I can't see anything in your second post. )

Well I suppose it gives us even more stats to talk - as if there weren't enough already... <_<

By the way Michael* (and donbot), referring to a much earlier conversation, I'm currently in the UK and watched me some Home & Away and Neighbours for *ahem* nostalgia's sake and, yes - they do still employ rather "healthy" Aussie actresses! :brows:

Outside of models, I'm a fan of athletic women:
^I don't know Mr. Icon... Obviously I admire an athletic lady, and I'm rather partial to tennis player's legs in particular - but I often find that out of the sporting arena they never quite look as nice as I'd hoped. I've always been a model fan, since the 'Supers' caught my attention at a pertinent point in time.

I suppose outside of that, well those Asian Gravure Idols and Race Queens pique my interest - and superheroines, naturally!

Well, with athletic women there's "too much" and there are volleyball/tennis players & women that look like Maria Sharpanova. I like athletic bodies and model bodies

With Asian Gravure Idols/Race Queens...I actually find them not "fit/trim" enough for my tastes

So how are you liking Angry Boys, Baron? I'm a bit divided about it.. it's a little hit and miss. S.Mouse doesn't really do it for me

In other news, your Blues are playing the Pies today. It's better for the Eagles if the Pies win, but nothing would please me more than to see them get smashed.. so I guess it's win-win

I'm hoping the loss of Heath Shaw is going to leave a significant dent in their team. Did you hear that he was suspended for 8 weeks for placing a $10 bet on a game?

Not much to it. It was just a conversation I overheard on my travels. As to me, they both creep me out, but I guess since Gaga's seems to be an act I guess her then . But on to more pleasant prospects ...

post-17304-1310559992_thumb.jpg

^Oh, Ju Daha... Actually, just got a new set to post of hers - but got kind of depressed at the lack of response/replies on all those 'Other Females Of Interest' threads.

I mean, here's my newest obsession: Risa Yoshike ( ). But I can't even be bothered to start a thread for her despite the mountainous collection I'm currently sitting on!

Well, if it makes you feel better, most threads in non-model forums have a much lower standard of views. There are a lot of popular actresses and singers have equal or less pages. That's not to mention all the lurkers like this fellow who are just too shy to join or post ...
