^I've always been marginally disappointed at the relative lack of attention I've received from homosexual guys...I used to have this housemate who my gay friends went crazy for! They were always asking me for photos of him in the gym (as if I had them anyway!
) or to steal his underwear!!!
I lived near a gay man a few years back- he owned the most intricate wardrobe I've ever seen. What kind of men do you think gays tend to be more attracted to? The stereotype is the very 'effete man' or 'very high standards'. Occasionally with a 'fohawk'.
I am handsome, but besides my nose-mouth-eyes area I'm not effete at all. My stylist tried to give me a 'fohawk', but I resisted... I prefer to look more 1950s conservative than 'modern'.
^Yes, I had Ritter Sport in Sweden too. My favourite was the 'marzipan' variety. As for their own 'packaged' food - there's nothing too different as to be exceptional, except said surströmming, the canned 'soured' herrings (of which Kallax is probably the most famous brand). You buy these in the supermarkets and look for the can to have swelled and rounded so they can't be stacked up properly - which means it's fermented well (at least six months) and is ready to go. Stand back though - because that thing stinks when it's opened! :xHerrings, just in vinegar and dill are lovely - and palette refreshing too. They also have the best strawberries I've ever eaten - wild strawberries called smultron which grow everywhere in Spring. (Y)
Are you still a professional chef?

Not really... my father is everything. You can´t put him in a box and no one, even his own family, really knows him. When you´re with him, you have to listen to what he´s not saying rather than what he IS saying... he´s so complicated. He´s more like Russians are... when they´re generous, they would give you anything. When they´re cruel, you rather run. I would not want to have my father as my enemy.I can´t really say how he is. As much conservative as liberal, as much strict as cheerfull and kind. But I can say one thing - he´s a really tough kind of person. Hard as steel. His mind is cutting. He can make anyone the size of a fly on his shoe
My father was a difficult person to be around. All his mental energy was devoted to his work, and he had little left. He's retiring in 3 years- he is a middle manager with 20+ years experience in his corporation. He put his all...but he never prevailed much against office politics and his progress up the organization chart was slow. Specialists like him- including engineers and scientists of all types get shafted in companies that don't have a dominant engineering or scientific culture. It is usually the lawyers, CFO's (financial people), and MBA's that successfully maneuver themselves and position their rise to upper management. They are the ones with more free time to maneuver and do so with a broader, more general skill set. But it is the specialists- particularly those product development and research & development labs that ultimately contribute the most to society and human knowledge.
Lawyers and MBA's as a whole get far more recognition and income but generally deliver far less contribution.
To add to our personal conversation: I just don't think that even the most impenetrable people are really that complex. Behind all the intellectual noise, all the contradictions, all the machinations, all the interpersonal politics it's mainly just primordial desires and that subsequent zeal that form the foundation. This portfolio of inner desires and motives just isn't that extensive.
Human, only human!

^Yes, I must dig mine out. I think I had them all at one point (I think the surviving creator, Uderzo still draws and now writes them) - some in spanish and some in english...Baron, Asterix was quite massive here tooI loved him as a kid, and still do now

Did you also watch movies? I mean, those animated ones, not played by real actors?
I did, and love them so much ![]()

We´re all only humans. Too complex and too easy at the same time, which is a fine paradox.

Does this girl have any Baroness potential
?
*edit* Bandwidth exceeded
, but I should probably pull back anyway since now there's a buildup to live up to

^That's an awful tease to leave me, Joe!
Yes, the anticipation is palpable now!
By the way, I hope you noticed my Bond/Holmes rebuttal on the previous page?!
^No, just chalk it up to another of my dalliances in the 'career' world! Of course, you never lose those skills - and it's still something I derive great pleasure from. As for the homosexual preferences - I suppose they'll be just as idiosyncratic as a hetero.
Gym-bodies certainly seem to be a big yes - but then I know guys who are into 'bears', or have the same tastes as a 'tweenage' girl! Interesting you should mention the 'fohawk' though - that was the haircut in London about 3/4 years ago, but it's yet to hit Buenos Aires. Slowly but surely...
^I didn't like the cartoons so much. For a start they didn't sound like I imagined, but more pertinently the comics used a lot of intricate wordplay and 'puns' which didn't translate to animation. Did you ever see the live-action versions with Gerard Depardieu as Obelix?Did you also watch movies? I mean, those animated ones, not played by real actors?I did, and love them so much

^Oh, and on these lines - I found this picture recently talking of (our own) personal tastes:I lived near a gay man a few years back- he owned the most intricate wardrobe I've ever seen. As to the tease, its hard to live up to now, it would probably be better to try when you forgot about it
. I even forgot the name now, but I'll give it another shot.
