actually the reason i came was for the pic for you and forgot to add it after i had said my piece.

and your post did have me in it, and that was what i addressed, misunderstanding of what you were saying about myself was the reason for the aggresion (and the apology).

trust me IF there is an issue between you and LMS than i will say that is news to me.

and that should get us on the same page now. lol. so again, i do apologize for misunderstanding what you were saying about me agreeing with Baby and my reply.

Well, didn't know that she was talking about me. That makes sense- she made that crazy post @ the same time I was posting about Masdar City in A & L.

And Baron, I agree with you about all that.

How can you say such things this is too much for my red-dwarf-harry-potter-fan soul

Maybe I should ask baby how to deal with such people.... and put in some good hysteria and stalking histories.... we get ya all, afterall... right, Mr. Flibble??

^I'm sorry, I expect it will upset Ophelia to hear such things too? "Mr Flibble" isn't showing, but I hope it wasn't meant to anger Baby? Does this conversation regarding her constitute as 'stalking' too? It's very hard to tell on BZ these days...

You know you can never really upset Ophelia, and you know it!! :persuazn:

here is Mr. Flibble for ya

Don´t make him angry Baron... you won´t like him if he´s angry!!

I don't get it Cult Icon. I read over everything(mostly) and I don't bloody get it. I'm staring at your conversations(that she linked) just so confused lol.

If it makes you feel better, Ophelia, then just imagine: Qwazy Bag Lady. Qwazy Bag Lady. Qwazy Bag Lady. That's the image that always comes to mind..:

catherinebaba4.jpg

I have a headache from this all. Please, if I may, I plead everyone not to answer her posts. It´s sick. And you, Cult Icon, should have ended it a really long time ago. Ignore her, or I may bang my head against the wall. And you don´t want it, do you???

I haven't exchanged posts or cared to openly read her posts since June 2011- where WW2 book recommendations went sour.

And you should really have followed that henceforth! And now I´m done with this issue... it just gives me headache. Let´s focus on better things... like Edita for you and me, Cult... :brows:

edit: posted twice. Even my computer can´t bear it. Damn!

Hello Baron, Been meaning to pop in to make my presence known for a while, just a little thing called life seems to always be getting in the way Im back from my adventures now. So hopefully there will now be more continuity with my visits

How are you anyway? Anything new in the life of Baron

^Welcome back - are you wiser from your travels Nightlife? I did see your name pop up again recently, and figured you must be mooching about again!

As for me, well, probably, but nothing that immediately springs to mind. I'm fine though, treading water in all pertinent areas of my life!

Im not sure about wiser, however when my Dad picked me up from the airport he mentioned he thought i had grown in height. Of course being twenty five years old thats hardly possible. So it must be in confidence, standing taller and more assure of myself. In actual fact that was also mention from a girl who works at a coffee shop that i get my coffee from. And since i got back i am seeing her in a different light. So watch this space It was a real personal experience and i got just what i wanted from it Being back at home is wired i must admit. Its taken a little while to settle back...but that was to be expected

On a more lighter note, Dam, i got so much to catch up on. It's simply overwhelming

^It's hard to tell these days, isn't it?!!

Yes, he is annoying. Still my favourite colour though!

I think maybe you just wouldn't understand, as I'm into all this art stuff that the rest of you are too limited in your views to appreciate. You see I'm really deep, you know? And into loads of shit that your vanilla sensibilities just can't cope with... And, like, I'm so complicated - you just won't understand. It's not your fault, I guess just my bohemian lifestyle and celebrity love-life is a bit beyond the rest of you - that's all...

Really? It looks like some kind of backstage photo. I mean, it probably is, she is too covered for Pirelli in this photo haha.

Indeed

I should have said it was from the Pirelli calendar shoot, rather than the calendar itself.

Christopher Hitchens RIP

@ Around 5:30, Christopher Hitchens says an interesting tidbit regarding the George Bush II type political personality and character " It works quite well in places, like Georgia, Latvia, Poland".

What is he implying by that? I do wonder. Well, Layla, you've complained about the vulgarity of Polish politics (I don't have a clue about it) and George Bush II was considered (as noted by Hitchens himself and concurrently in my personal experience) highly revolting during his presidency by over half of the US electorate.

There is an 'Anni Jürgenson' (14 years old new model) that looks like a clone of Carmen Kass. They're both Estonian, too. The resemblance is uncanny!

Baron, out of curiosity, what are your favorite cuts of steak?
^Ah, bife! Naturally it's nice to change it up often - and as long as there's a damn fine Malbec to accompany it (as well as chimichurri - the king of bife sauces) I'm happy!

But, yes, one does err towards certain cuts. And for me a bife de chorizo is the best all-rounder, certainly in a good restaurant. msn-12.gif It's the sirloin, so sometimes lesser establishments can use an inferior cut. From the frontal section of the muscle is better, go too far back and it tends to get fatty.

The joy of going to a good parrilla (or steakhouse) though is that you get all the off-cuts and other bits too. So, for a starter you could have chinchulines (intestines), mollejas (sweetbreads) and riñones (kidneys) served up. And if you're going to be a wimp about those things then Buenos Aires is not the place for you! I'd also recommend the bife de lomo (tenderloin) - it probably is the finest cut, but it can be relatively expensive and more hit and miss with how it's cooked.

How about you, and anyone else?

This is awesome

^To say too much about it would ruin it - but I'd recommend it as a Christmas film over and above Tim Allen in The Santa Clause!

^Yes, alas... How has his passing been received on the more right-wing networks there? He seemed to me the kind of character they wouldn't have taken to!

And your picture of Anni Jürgenson isn't showing up, and I'm not in the habit of doing internet-searches for 14-year old girls!

I don't watch Fox but Christopher Hitchens is, for many Christians, their favorite public atheist. Genuinely witty and brilliant.

One of the odd things I felt during the Bush years was how repulsive Bush's personality was even to all the Republicans I knew. They voted for him, of course, to support his policies. But his 'character' was just- as Hitchens says- not well traveled.

When he talks about how people couldn't stand seeing a photo of him or hearing him talk- I simply felt the same way, as well. Barack Obama is more tolerable, but still not acceptable most of the time.

Anni Jurgenson has a thread @ The Fashion Spot.
