I got something you said totally wrong, I just need to find it . Of course, I only mentioned it just to give assurance that I remember the answers to my previous questions .

*edit* Yeah, I put the name in the search and found it. This is the one I misinterpreted somehow...

I wouldn't rule it out . I don't know whether its a good thing or bad thing that you didn't hear this comment from a girl I know .

The Girl: You at least can't deny Madonnna's staying power. She's been doing it for over twenty years like the Rolling Stones. Not a lot of people can say that.

Hey B, nice to be around again

This week we buried a cat at the cottage. She was pregnant, but kitties died inside of her and she "suppurated" from inside so our neighbour ended her torment and killed her.

It is a second cat we lost this year - the first one dissapeared and now this second one luckily she left 3 healthy kittens that are already catching mice.

It was sad If you want or not, you get used to the animal, and then - it´s gone.

^ Kids today, eh?!

You still didn't answer my query, Joe. How did that 'spoiler' quote equal me liking 'comedy' comics???

But, yes, it is nice to know members are paying attention when you converse with them.

^Well thanks for depressing me!

Yes, I'm loathe to get another pet after being so cut up after my cats died...

And nice to see you back on the forum.

^Oh my lawd, I can't even begin to explain how much she looks like the former Baroness! 38573061.gif

All you'd have to do is have her hair red and... I don't know, it's all a little too scary for me. oops.gif Need to go and lie down.

^ Of course not! It just shocked me a little is all.

Naturally I don't wish to discuss past liaisons with my BZ inamorata - it's terribly ill-mannered and gauche isn't it? :yuckky: But Yumi is the spit! Now that I'm prepared I shall endeavour to get over it. One just doesn't like unexpected reminders of failure, even these years later...

Fucking Essendon, Baron :persuazn:
^Yeah, well you and me both eh?

Still, plenty of time for them to crumble... crossed_fingers.gif

And Eagles/Blues for the 'Grand Final' - but there we must part company!

The 'Calming Manatee' - for when you see photos eerily reminiscent of your ex-wife, or when your team loses to those ghastly Bombers: http://calmingmanatee.com/

I´m sorry I was full of a weird sorrow - I did not particularly love that cat (I loved her sister more) but still I was so damn sad when she died.

I think that one needs to go on - that sometimes it is nice to have another one to fill the empty space. Now I´m so grateful for having those three kittens of hers that are slowly growing up. And sometimes, the animal just happens to you and you cannot fight it there are so many of them without home.

Nice to be back again

Oh, for some reason when you referred to Asterix, I thought you were saying you preferred comedy over the other kind. Basically, I had a bad interpretation at the time without knowing it and then came to just accept it as true somehow . After reading it again, I got it in the context it was said.

So Baron, I finally got to see the Avengers with my own eyes last night. It was pretty much everything I'd hoped it would be and a good time was had by all. I was more impressed with Scarjo than I have been for a long, long time, and I loved the lengths they went to to make Robert Downey look tall.

All in all, it made my inner geek very happy. Can't wait for Avengers II: Avenge Harder.

^ Have you seen those (unintentionally) terrifying US medicine ads - where they list all the possible side-effects to the point of you being scared shitless to take the thing at all?! 38573061.gif

That's the 'culpability' legal game for you though, I suppose...

^True. But I'm so itinerant at the moment that's impossible. That, plus the strict UK quarantine laws means I can hardly flit back between even Spain and the UK with an animal - let alone Argentina! It's hard enough for me with the drugs and firearms...

^Asterix books were one of the first things I read in english when I came to the UK. Of course I didn't really get all the jokes back then - although I've always been a tad precocious! As I got older I came to appreciate then even more. But the X-Men are my main comic squeeze.

^Does that mean we have to have Avengers with a Vengeance too? I guess we've already got Samuel L Jackson in it anyway!

How about the totally gratuitous Scarjo bum shot (when she's sussing out Loki)? They didn't even try to disguise that!
