As far as comics go, I have found that French comics have the highest quality of artwork and story lines. Unfortunately, they do not appear to be very prolific. In comparison, American comics (outside of standouts like watchmen or 100 bullets) are average or poor, and most Japanese comics are terrible. .

In my area, we often have French, German, and Chinese editions of some of the big fashion magazines (Vogue, etc.) in newstands and I have noticed that the chinese/east asian models play a bigger role there than in the other editions. (quite obviously).

Liu Wen and Sui He both did VS, and did it well. Sun Fei Fei has mono-eyelids but otherwise is very beautiful. I favor the first two, and the third with reservation.

Are there any Japanese high fashion models? There is one on the list : Tao Okamoto ...but that's it. Come to think of it, I haven't seen any at all (or just don't remember).

She doesn't have double eyelids. She only has one eyelid and it is (at least to me) pretty unattractive on its own. But when she obscures this with the right makeup and eyelash treatment......well, she's prettier all of sudden..

Baron, have you managed to catch the recently released Partridge movie trailer yet? I think when it comes out, I'm going to drive to Dundee in my bare feet to see it and eat toblerones - not the small ones, the medium sized ones!

Have you guys seen Derek? I know we talked a little about it after the pilot came out a while ago, but I only just found out it had been made into a 6 episode run, and that it's also been signed for a second series. It really grew on me, and I think it's better than Life's Too Short (Y)
