LOL ! Where do you find these people ?

As to the cake, you mean the one your husband gave the recipe for? Thanks for the vid and welcome, btw . I ended up eating the strawberries in the planning process but I made the cake part anyway. I'll have to find the picture of it.

I agree about Elsa's body and runway presence although I must say she's probably technically prettier than some I like (although I wouldn't say moreso than my top favorites in the real of conventional and or non edgy beauty ) as there are some qualities I like that don't enhance beauty necessarily. I like (though that's not to say require by any means) uniqueness, full lips and a big smiles as an example, although I wouldn't say any of that enhances beauty technically. For example, with lips, to me the technical beauty is in the shape and to me the beauty of the smile is in the smile itself. To me Jessica Alba's regular sized smile is superior to Karolina Kurkova's even though I love big smiles and I prefer Alessandra's average sized lips over Kemp Muhl's full ones because of the shape. With the uniqueness thing, I find Gemma (who ironically has neither full lips or big smile) to be unique although I wouldn't say that makes her more beautiful, only more interresing to me. Aside from looks, some women have an energy that can selll what they have more. In the realm of Swedish women, to me Malin Ackerman is prettier than Miny Anden, but Mini's attitude and confidence make her more alluring to me. I'm definitely a big fan of Freja although I can't explain why. I'm sure there are better looking models that I don't like and she doesn't like men on top of that, but she brings a lot of fire to her work .

Oh, and I'll have to get back to you on the last two vids, Pretty by lol @ the commentary . As a side note though, I sent one of your Kate sets to my redhead friend I told ILuv about who loves blondes so much that he has no standard with the hope of raising his standards . I guess I'll see what the result will be.

Have you attained what South Park referred to as the sword of legend in Warcraft yet or is that even a real thing ? I was never clear on where you ranked specifically, but figured you would know about it if it were real at least.

Well, I don't want to be a freeloader here, so ...Randomness of the top of my head.

Best Qualities (to me) of Models I don't Follow and am Not Attracted To

Disclaimer: That is of course omitting stomach flatness and long leggedness and also not to count out the fact that one may give a mean sax solo, but its in reference to qualities that relate to their modeling somehow. I had to add 'don't follow' in there to distinguish them from the models I'm a fan of such as Sasha, Masha ect. who I'm not attracted to even though I do follow them.

Selita Ebanks's Smile - say what you want about her precocious runway display, shark eyes, no hips with disproportionately short torso and so forth. Despite all of that, I think her smile is as good as any in fashion.

Raquel Zimmerman's Style - I've never been attracted to her, but she definitely has a very professional, confident and classy style about her that I like . She also seems to have a sense of humor which allows her to be classy, but not seem stuffy in any way.

Lindsay Ellingson's...Eye Batting - sure she looks like a deer caught in the headlights a lot of the time, but she batted her eyes one time and I didn't mind it.

Caroline Trentini's Looking Impassively into the Distance - I doubt that any in fashion does it better .

Lily Aldridge's Personality

Hilary Rhoda's Sensuality - even though her skills and brows seem wasted on commercial modeling as of late (that's not to say commercial modeling is bad though) she definitely knows how to model and has some definite sensuality about her.

Natasha Poly's Runway Style - there aren't many that can beat her there .

Kemp Muhl's Whatever - maybe she's versatile somehow . She can pull off the girl next door thing, but also the kindof disturbed crime partner girlfriend thing.

Random Things That Terrify Me Reloaded

Miss Americas playing classical piano during the 'talent' portion

The host of the "Sweet Genius" show - he might be the new creapiest guy on television. By the premise, I assume he's some kindof cullinary expert that specializes in sweets, but he has all the trademarks of a creepy villain.

Constantly referring to himself as a genius - check

Passive aggressive - check

Creepy smile no matter what's going on (even when a guy cut his finger and was bleeding profusely) - check

Indescript, constantly6 fluctuating accent - check

A bunch of children in a small room talking at the same time

Back seats of sports cars

The possibility of being anywhere around the inevitable meltdown of grown pagent girls who have been taught to smile all the time

^ I'm claiming that comparison as my own! Well, with due deference to Jaws - of course...

'Sometimes that shark, he looks right into you. Right into your eyes. You know the thing about a shark, he's got...lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eye.'

Yep, that's Selita! mischievous_smilie.gif

This is in regards to the: General Talk General Babe Discussion > Babe Polls area of the forum. Can we PLEASE clean up and delete all polls that are over 1-2 years old. Some of the topics/polls have become irrelevant to current times and not sure why they don't have an end to them. Always wondered that about the polls.....it never ends

In the case of Selita, those are all from other members as the torso thing is compliments of Pretty. Though I can't say I'm as passionate about the Selita thing as the other stuff, I figured I'd throw you a bone in there .

^Are you trying to say somebody else came up with that comparison then? Because I very much doubt it... <_<

Not knowing Sweet Genius, I just went and looked up some examples of this host's work... whatever.gif I concur, Joe - this man is 'creepy'. And ridiculous!

LOL by other members, I mean members other than me. That is you for the shark thing, and other people for the rest. So much has been said about her I figured a general review was in order. In any case, you did bite the bone anyway .

Its mainly how they sit up straight in the big dress and the way they maintain that same plastic smile as they play frantically. Its scary stuff .

And that Sweet Genius guy has so got a little cake boy that he keeps in his kitchen and tortures by taking little bites out of and spilling red food colouring over his pristine work surfaces: "Look little Gingerbread-Justin. You've made such a mess of my kitchen with your blood. Tut tut. Back in ze pantry with you. Perhaps you will learn your lesson after a night sleeping on ze sprinkles, hmmm?"

Yeah, though I hope you now know by bone I meant the shark comment originally in reference to you . I don't remember who said the no hips one though and there were other jabs too numerous to keep track of.

Though funny, unfortunately its probably true .

Comic Characters that Got Screwed by Hollywood

When its right (like Professor X) its right and when its wrong, its wrong. For some characters, another chance is usually right around the corner, so they can overcome a bad casting choice here and there. On the other hand, some aren't so lucky. This is of course casting wise as some were screwed by the storyline, but that would include spoilers obviously.

Poison Ivy - unlike Catwoman, her opportunities don't come around much. Why they chose someone they had to put bad red hair dye on who didn't otherwise look the part anyway is beyond me. Well, I can't say totally beyond me as I assume it was about the name rather than believability but still, there had to be someone better.

The Riddler - He seems to me to be generally portrayed as being cool whereas this portrayal had a level of lunacy that may have even been too over the top for the Joker. Nice try, but I thought it was just too much.

The Invisible Woman - I can't say I have a problem with Alba's looks, but seeing as how there isn't a shortage of blue eyed blondes in the world, the terrible blonde hair die and contacts are really off putting. Well, the acting was bad and she still wasn't believable in the role on top of that of course.

Green Lantern - I haven't actually seen it, but seeing as how the part was played by a lame guy from a bunch of romantic comedies, I had to give it a mention until further notice.

Daredevil - with modern technology, anyone can be made to look like a martial arts master so it really didn't matter that much who it was while he was in the suit. Also, even despite Ben Aflack being one of the worst actors ever, its not like the standard of acting in such movies is always that high. The problem is the fact that Daredevil isn't like Batman or Spiderman in that a second chance can be just a couple years away. That said, just the fact that what his shot was spent on Ben just for the principle alone is how Hollywood screwed Daredevil over.

Steel - whereas Daredevil is B+ to A- list, Steel is C-D list, so he may never get a chance to redeem himself from one of the worst performances ever, even by athlete standards.

Juggernaut - lol

Rogue - even aside from not looking the part or even having or attempting a southern accent, they seemingly combined the characters of Jubilee and Rogue while omitting the best qualities of both.

Adrien Viedt - much like "From Hell", The Watchment is a decent movie at face value but still a butchering of an Alan Moore masterwork. Though its obviously too long for all of the fine points to be included, they spent so much time adding unnecessary things and changing others that it leaves one to wonder how much better it would have been if the things added were replaced by things that were actually there. In this case, Adrien's character is described as having sad, knowing eyes. These qualities add to his character and the story tremendously. In the film, the character is portrayed as having the demeanor of a smiling, corporate slickster which totally destroys all of the irony and depth of the character.

Yeah Joe, Adrian Viedt was definitely miscast.
