Yeah Joe, Adrian Viedt was definitely miscast.

http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/3164/ozy1.jpg

That definitely illustrates it perfectly . He's also described as an athletic marvel too, but even the absence of that could have been overlooked if the personality was executed properly.

btw, Joe, who are your favorite models?

I have three major groups. I'll add more names per group, but just to define each, one group has the ones that I purely for their modeling skills and quality of work. Another has the ones I like for looks, charm or other qualities that are independant of their modeling skills and quality of work. The other group are the ones that are a combination of the two. With Gemma, I could like her purely based on her work although I wouldn't put her in the work only group because even though she's not sensual, I think she's super cute as well as unique. With Tanya on the other hand, I would have to put her in the work only category although she has personality as well and I wouldn't call her bad looking per se. On the other hand, I'd put someone like Simonen Villas Boas in the other category as her type of work isn't my preferred type. That's not to say I'm opposed to commercial modeling in theory in a high fashion snob type of way of course.

They might as well . At least a balding, whispering guy would have made it interresting if nothing else.

LOL though wasn't there a dance video there before ? I meant to not comment until I saw it and then it was gone. This one's funny stuff anyway though .

Nice conception, I'm looking forward to it.

As for Arian, I've imagined his voice as being the one that belongs to younger kenneth branagh.

I have to agree about the general Branagh sentiment . I loved him as Iago too . Thanks for the dance videos .

The squirrels and I are doing well, thanks for asking and I hope you're doing well too . The only thing is, I continue to be amazed at how much friendlier they are in different parts of the world and country compared to the southern U.S. though . At least it seems some what of an irony in light of the southern hospitality thing. Of course, some would say the whole slavery thing would be too, but you get the point. I must admit though that whenever I start getting some to trust me, one of my cast usually tries to attack . He's good on the inside though .

Ever since your revelation of the double meaning of "squirrel", I can't help but think you're talking in filthy euphemisms

LOL ! He looks like that guy from Primievel in that pic .

Its strange about the squirrel euphemism because I actually meant to say beaver although it turns out squirrel is a thing too .

I'm glad you knew I meant cats because I wrote casts for some reason . They are definitely mostly good on the inside . Well, I'll just have to take your word for those fluffy white ones with the angry faces though .

Joe, the sheer size of Shaq's hands in your avatar is freaking me out a little. You know how some people can palm a basketball? Well, he could probably palm a BMW.

Those cats are super cute indeed . They're cute even in the early stages with closed eyes and no fur although I'm glad for them when they get both obviously. I must admit that mine was never that cute . Well, at least not to the casual onlooker that is.

One of the interresting things about sports it seems is that aside from the necessary knowledge and skill sets, some physical qualities are only relevant in some sports verses others . It seems that basketball is one of the few sports where hand size is relevant since being able to catch the ball with one hand is a huge advantage. Along those same lines, basketball might be the only non combat sport where proportionately long arms are helpful too. Even with a goalie I'm not sure whether it matters and even for a wide receiver in football, some of the best catchers actually have small or regular sized hands. On top of that, even with boxing and MMA, some of the hardest higgers have small or regular sized hands. He probably has the biggest over the last couple decades whereas Wilt is the only player I've seen who could palm a ball better whereas Jordan is probably the best among perimeter players on the other hand.

Random Funny Things Often Overlooked About the Kanye and Taylor Thing

th_267904765_thumbnailCAWA1991_123_159lo.jpg

Sure he was out of line and I felt sorry for her at the time, but in retrospect, I found all of the following things funny anyway .

The way he just appeared on stage - A little country girl is giving a speach and its like you just blinked and its like a puffy cheeked guy with shades just appears out of thin air. Its probably one of the most random award moments since Brando had the Indian girl accept his award.

The fact that he had previously protested his own win - Even he doesn't get off the hook as he had previously found fault with the fact that he won over someone else he found more deserving.

He had a forty in his jacket

Russel Brand's awkward attempt to make sense of it right after - I never had use for the guy, but this was his moment. "I just want to say first off that we love evry boday! We love Kanye, Taylor, Beyonce, evry boday!"

The fact that Madonna was sure that her Michael Jackson tribute would have been the talk of the show - obviously that didn't turn out to be the case .

The fact that he did it to defend Beyonce and she took sides with the angry mob - "come up here and give yo speech Taylor!"

The fact that in his mind she was just a random person at the wrong place at the wrong time - she would later fight back a little with some jokes here and there but he never really saw her as anything but someone in the way in the moment. Either Eminem has a patent on the rapper feuding with girls thing or once he says what he has to say, that's the end of it for him.

The fact that Pink, like Madonna probably thought her act would be the talk of the show - she had done her hang from the ceiling thing before, but this was a big stage and sure to be next to the Madonna speech as the talk of the show. Of course, it turned out that they were both denied .

The fact that he said 'excuse me' and 'I'm happy for you' - at the time, I was to surprised to think about that opening line, but it was pretty funny when I looked back on it .

I'd say it helps for a goalkeeper in football/soccer to have bigger hands, but it's far from essential. The designs of the gloves they wear have evolved considerably over the years, to the point where many could palm the ball without too much trouble. Also, when faced with a situation where it looks difficult to make a catch (coupled as well with the fact that the balls are so much lighter these days and can swerve quite alarmingly in mid-air at times), the average goalie would usually elect to simply punch the ball away from the goal and let his defenders do the rest. It's nowhere near as big a factor as it must be in basketball, where all the players use their hands constantly. And I'd imagine the reverse is true in something like boxing or MMA, where smaller hands = more speed.
