Thanks for the vid donbot . And congrats on the game/comeback Matt . Even though Andy says there's not quarterback controversy, it was good to see him get a chance and play so much better than the other guy. That combined with the Redskins beating the Cowboys is a pretty nice slap in his face it seems . Not to mention of course the innate stupidity of sending your still pretty good quarterback to a division rival (that you have to play twice a year) and thus not only allowing them to upgrade at quarterback but also allowing him to spill your secrets to said rival . Hate that I missed the Chad and T.O. connection's loss . And as to the girl I posted awhile ago, I forgot but I'll se what I can do .

I guess I'm not one for vagueness or short sentences so might as well put my cards on the table . I'm always pretty low on the 11th in general I guess, plus had a bad day in general on top of that and for some reason when I came here the parade of sub 1 (and even sub .5) scores for Alek Wek (I guess on the grounds of dark skin and African features) kindof me off immensely for some reason . And I'm not even a fan and was going to give a 2 myself (though I figured why bother of course), but that really pissed me off for some reason. Not sure whether it was the general feeling of the day carrying over or the fact that it seems an 'edgy' European model with 8 teeth and no eyebrows can get at least the dignity of a 1 . And its not that its a revelation to me that it was the sentiment here, but maybe I expected more there or maybe it would have been just a mild annoyance independent of the rest of the awful day or maybe since I hadn't been on I was expecting something good or funny and saw that instead so it stands out more, I can't say. So yeah, kindof pissed me off a lot but then only part of what would have been an awful day in anyway. Now if everyone thinks I'm crazy or if I'm just kicking rocks here that's fine, but I was taught its somehow good for you to put your cards on the table .

For the record though, I think people would love to throw 0.0000000000001's at your hypothetical 8 toothed model too. People around here (and indeed all over the internet) love to bandy around opinions, especially when it's at in the extreme of love/hate, approve/disapprove, etc.

Well, I didn't mean hypothetically (as in if it were to happen), I was referring to specific instances (in part because I'm cursed with a photographical number memory , though it helps in shcool). But at the same time, when a day (or couple days) suck to a degree, something that would have been a mild annoyance otherwise becomes or seems bigger. If you'll notice even a "no problem" to a stepping on the foot on an average day may become a "watch where the f*** you're going!" if the day is bad enough . That's where I was there, but since I can't withold my feelings (unless talking to an enemy of course) I just had to spill. So yeah, that's not to say I'd care for it on an average day, but would have been more of the 'that's just life I guess' shrug .

But even in the heat of passion though races are involved, I wasn't saying its a racism issue per se. On one hand, she is where she is largely because of white fans moreso than black (though that is probably the case with most black models both due to numbers (blacks only 12-13% of America for example) and that blacks by average even by relative terms aren't into models as much by comparisson (and that can be a chicken or egg debate so I won't get into that now). B) A lot goes on within the same race and I'm equally or more annoyed with that. To a lot of African Americans a light skinned black woman 5/10 is better than a dark skinned woman 6.5-7/10 (dark skinned men get lots of love by contrast). I of course don't agree but maybe I'm just a rebel I guess . And on the flip side its not a full caste system as to a lot of them a light skinned back 5 is also better than a white 6.5-7. But the psychology and sociology of color is all kindof interresting in its own way. And then with the example of another spectrum, my life long redhead friend and his sister were always called 'ugly' and made fun of by whites, blacks and hispanics alike even since they were in kindergarden about their super light skin. Even to this day he's still talked about and told about how he needs a 'tan' ect. So...yeah... ...

I'll have to take your word for those figures. Skin colour isn't really a factor for me personally.. super dark chocolate can be as beautiful as porcelain white, and everything in between.

Its funny to me looking back on now too . And no, I don't have an issue with low scores, but I had never seen so many less than 1s and it was a bad mix for my mood at the time . Since I can look back with humor I might as well expound a bit on the day.

1. Always feeling kindof low on the 11th in general.

2. I got set up on a blind date without my consent and couldn't get out of it.

3. The date was really awful .

4. My ex showed up and sat across from us (oh it was sooo awkward )

5. I found out my cousin I had paid to feed my fish (even a little extra since I left the country and haven't been home much in general) hadn't been doing it and I got home and they were all at the top of the tank .

6. I kindof lost it a little (not physically, but gave an in person version of one of my rants ).

7. My aunt then gave us both a 45 minute speech on the importance of family and forgiveness .

I just wanted to go to an open field and just yell to the top of my lungs .

Yeah, true but to be honest, he's actully slightly too soft for my liking , but I'm just kindof shopping around to replace my ex-favorite <_< . I tried Dwight, but his lack of post game and even catch into the post competance annoys me (I also find him an overrated defender because despite his physical gifts and blocking shots, he can't really defend 1 on 1). My ex-favorite, Mr. 'Decision' had filled the spot when Shaq and Ducan got old, but his recent behaviour is just too lame for words . So I guess if he were an elite soldier he'd go to another army for a better chance to win I guess, lol.

Ah, the ukelele . I was engaged in a lengthy argument the other day about what is the most underrated instrument. He said the ukelele, I said I could respect his opinion, but that its at least had some love from various artists over the years. I say it has to be either the bagpipe or the accordion. These are instruments with a lot of ability and possiblity that you don't see many artists incorporating...

Yeah, bagpipes are usually seen as just producing annoying/screeching cat noises. That music was really nice though I gotta say (Y)

And damn, that accordion performance was mental

It's a great instrument, but yeah, it's rare to see. The only time I recall was by a super cool guy Jason Webley who I saw support The Dresden Dolls some years ago. He's a solo performer who just uses a piano accordion, along with a few other percussive gizmos and lots of stomping and growly vocals. Reminds me of a young Tom Waits in some ways.

Say, have you heard of That 1 Guy? Absolutely unbelievable live performer, and he gave birth to possibly the most awesome instrument ever, The Magic Pipe.

Well, technically, it's called a 'bandoneón' - and it belongs to the concertina family as opposed to strictly being an accordion. But they're all free-reed instruments and sound pretty much the same. Anyway, it's part of the 'typical orchestra' that plays tango music (which you cannot escape from - no matter how hard you try... ), and it's like 'muzak' on the streets of Buenos Aires.
