Hey Baron, I know you're a legs man but still figured I'd ask anyway and that's why do you think women's arms aren't that popular ? I don't know, I just think there's some that are really nice and of course are a nice sidekick to a nice back in an elegant gown. There's some that are nice and soft and others that are slightly toned but still feminine. I guess you would probably think compared to legs its like drumstick vs. neckbone and of course arms aren't overly unique one from the other and don't generally have much wow factor, I don't know .
^I suppose I wouldn't really notice a girl's arms unless they were particularly unpleasant (like Madonna's 'gristle' arms! :yuckky: ). I suppose it would be an indication on the body in general if the arms were overly toned - like I've said before I don't care for Marisa Miller's body because of this, and although her arms themselves don't turn me off they are a little too muscular for my taste; Selita too (although don't even get me started on the reasons I don't like her!!! ).

When it comes to fashion, and therefore models, arms don't tend to be a focus do they? I mean designers will talk of flattering necklines and hemlines and what trouser styles are 'in', but sleeves are the next division down... Along with socks.

Most models seem to rock an inoffensive arm! That is toned, slight muscle, thin. You hear women talk more of men's arms don't you? How they feel protected by big strong arms, or 'bear' arms, rugby player's arms, wiry hipster guitar playing arms... Maybe it's more their 'bag'?!! After all, I suppose it's more us holding them than the other way around. And that idea of "protection" and chivalry - why it's the stuff of romantic fiction (with or without a Fabio cover <_< ).

I get your point though - it is a neglected zone. Like all things, I've NO doubt there's still some sort of niche fetish for it - probably even on this forum somewhere - but it gets' short shrift compared to breasts, legs, bums and faces. I'm with you on the back though, Joe: that can be wonderfully sexy...

Greatest post ever from a model!

I have not heard the song “New York State Of Mind” by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys since I’ve unpacked——not even once…

^ You've neglected to reveal who this caustic wit is though - I need to know if she's the one..!

Whats your ranking Baron? are you a face, legs, ass or boobs man? all of the above? do you agree with me that not only beautiful women can fall in love with ugly guys (thank god) but also handsome guys can fall in love with ugly women?
^I think I'm probably with you on the face thing. It is the first thing I notice (or at least allow myself to notice, I'm sure we've all been fooled by that wonderful arse ahead of us on the street - only to be woefully crestfallen at the 'reveal' ), and the thing that would keep me... I mean, that's what you'll be looking during 'intimate' moments (not always, but often! ), the face you'll be waking up to, the face that your kids will inherit. It's a far more complex feature than other body-parts - much more intricate and unique. You could stick a whole bunch or similar backsides up on a board and tell a guy to pick the one that belongs to his partner and he might just get it wrong (at least he'd have to think about it), but there's never going to be any doubt with a face is there?

That said, I'm a leg man at a basic level!

As for your second point - what's considered conventionally 'beautiful' is as boring to me as what passes for 'sexy' in that base, men's-mags way. Whist I'm not saying my choices are out there by any great stretch, I do abhor the obvious and would hate to be pigeon-holed or easily second-guessed in my tastes!

And there are plenty of ladies represented on this forum that are borderline 'ugly', but taste is difficult to quantify isn't it? Those that are popular here, or in polls, are only so because of the average or the lowest common denominator. Sometimes that clicks with me (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is the current girl du jour after all - but then I know plenty of people who think she looks weird, particularly her lips), more often it doesn't as those girls are quite plain and simply in the public eye. How all those reality-show girls are considered great beauties is continually perplexing to me , that's a triumph of PR right there...

Who is this model? At first glance I thought it's Miranda... although you're not a fan of her so then I looked again and wondered if it could be Rosie, or maybe Gracie and I looked again and now this model doesn't look like any of these girls to me

^Yes, it is Miranda, princess - sorry I just presumed she'd be recognisable... It's a pretty old picture though, maybe (or at least) 4/5 years old?

You're right though - most models have pretty nondescript, 'inoffensive' arms. I must say though, Ana BB has a particularly sublime pair, and crazy-long like her legs :brows:

So Baron, have you managed to catch any of Chris Lilley's Angry Boys yet? I know it's being shown on HBO in the States, but I dunno if that means anything for your accessibility <_<

So far I've been mildly disappointed by it.. seems to have more flat spots than his previous efforts, but it's still had it moments. I'm looking forward to the next episode, where his overbearing Japanese mother character is introduced

^No, no Angry Boys yet... I very much doubt it will ever make it's way here, but I'll get it recorded in the UK whenever it may get shown there. No news on that yet, unless anybody knows any different?

I love Marisa's.. perfect tone
^Yeah, I can see I might be in a minority when it comes to Marisa. IT DOESN'T MAKE ME WRONG THOUGH!

You see, I thought it's her at first but in this picture her lips look kinda Rosie-ish so I wasn't 100% sure.

Muchas gracias seňor B :brows:

Hm, when it comes to woman, my order is - face - tummy (doesn´t have to be flat) - hips - legs (I really love good hips about a woman, like Cintia Dicker has )

but when it comes to man... dunno, there is nothing like this. I mean, I like handsome men, of course, but it´s hard to tell what means "handsome" to me. On one hand it can be Colin Farrell or Edward Norton, Johnny Depp or Christian Bale, Mickey Rourke or any other actor / musician/ blah blah... on the other hand, it can be anyone.

Yes, I do love wide, strong arms, I do love musicians for their skillful hands :brows: and soft touch, and I love many other things about a man, but once someone can make me laugh and it feels to be good with him AND there is at least some sexual attraction... it can be anyone I guess.

And also, people tend to change in my eyes. Once I get to know them and take a fancy in them, they become... beautiful for me. No matter what others say, I find every one of their feature beautiful. And on the contrary, if there is someone I don´t like, somehow the person becomes ugly, no matter how "beautiful" is he/she viewed by other people.

I´m sure you know this thing too. I guess it´s what FirstontheMoon wrote about

Men, on the other hand, and there are exceptions like myself and hopefully the Baron, are literal horny dogs, who rarely bring any kind of subtlety to sexual attraction.
^Yes, I'd like to think I've evolved slightly more than the average man! I'm also well above the prescribed tenets of 'romantic gestures' too - leave that flowers and chocolates crap to the amateurs!!!

I know what you mean though. Where are the female equivalents of quirkier sex-symbols like Christopher Walken say, or Javier Bardem. These aren't conventionally handsome men - yet I know plenty of women who like them. There are plenty of other examples - just these two came up in recent conversation only this weekend. Money/fame does play a part, sure, but men still don't fantasize about Barbra Streisand do they

(well, straight ones don't!)

^You are, of course, entitled to your wrong opinion!!!

I have to say, in the interests of clarity, that I think Megan Fox is objectively stunning too. I get the feeling she gets some short shrift here (probably in equal measure to the overblown exclamations of her divinity - but that happens elsewhere on BZ too, or so I've heard! ); I've no idea about her personality or any things she may or may not have said, as I'm not that interested - but purely physically, yes!

Megan looks great in motion and in pictures but she lacks a long period of drama school training & experience. Being a good actress also requires a good liberal arts education for building character. She can be sexy but not close to Eva Green sexy. I've seen clips of her act and I think the potential is there, though- but just too late by now. I think she's done and said a few unfortunate things that damaged her career. (The fall out with Michael bay being the biggest one)

I don't know anything about Rosie. Frankly, I think she's looked the best at galas and social events (rather than photoshoots VS or otherwise).
