In real life, I can see both sides of course - but I like to think I have some sort of insight into things by now, and that was my point. It was silly for VS to ask for something they probably wouldn't like the answer to.

Yeah though is the assumption that she won just because whe as a of her big leathery bust or were the other girls equally bland but more forgettable in general? On the flip side, I was about to say they need to bring back the model skits, but it seems only a few really seem up to the task. Of course, I'm going to throw it out there that I don't care for any additives, including musical guests .

Its a great pic though at face value, the girl looks pretty creepy which is of course enhanced by the way she has her hand on the table like that. On the other hand, I thought the cat kindof softened it up I guess since it looks like one of mine . I can see how some would think the cat added to it on the other end because of the angle although he or she's probably just hungry.

Oh, and that cat picture was great! In plain sight!?!? Poor kitty. What a way to find out...

Yeah but I guess its better to know they're not the one before you take it to that next step I suppose. On a different note though, are you by any chance familiar enough with any of these to know whether these represent all of their real heights ?

A few pages ago you said "Plus, a woman who lists 'nutrition' as a hobby is not the woman for me" Which made question whether I've met anyone who has ever listed "nutrition" or anything similar as a hobby. To which the answer was no. In fact I even met a couple of dietitians ( Whilst I was traveling mind, where ones regimes so to speak is a little more relaxed ) who were the most outrageous girls ever. Never would they say no to a burger, drank copious amounts of alcohol and ironically had a very nonchalant view of their health. Which could be said for the majority of society these days. Now on the other side of the spectrum we have the VS Angels. Who present themselves as complete health freaks who don't drink in access, non - smokers (most) and have an incredibly balanced diet. In addition to that, they're all about "world peace". Not only that but they seem the need to state it in every other interview. It's this flawless image that they present themselves in that makes me a little skeptical about how much truth is involved in their words. They're at the pinnacle of their field, so naturally their life choices and general actions and behavior is going to be scrutinized by the media. More importantly it's going to have a huge influence on young girls, who read the magazines and inspire too them. I am sure the angels are only to well aware of this. I am not suggesting that they are out and out lying. However I do wonder if they subconsciously create a clean cut persona for the media to relieve the pressure off themselves and who they truly are. Because personally I find it hard to believe anyone can be that flawless with no vices to their name Maybe I am your typical cynical Brit. But i am just saying...

This begs the question then. We will ever truly know what the VS Angels are like

I kept thinking something was going to jump out at me as I stared at that pic, like those 'what's wrong with this picture?' tricks! It is uneasy, for sure - not as bad as that video you shouldn't watch in Ringu though. That's one scary little piece of nonsense... :shock:

It may be utterly predictable for me to say that Behati is one of the (if not the) best - but that's not to say it isn't true! Marisa, when she was in it, was very charming too. Someone like Doutzen is shy and sweet, but that's not really her ouevre so she should steer clear. Others like Ale and Miranda are slightly mechanical. Adriana is a clown. And (another ex-"Angel") Selita was a complete charisma-vacuum.

On a different note though, are you by any chance familiar enough with any of these to know whether these represent all of their real heights ?

Miranda has her whole 'organic' thing going on as a side-business, so she practices what she preaches (as far as we know); but yeah, the 2007 VSFS "Miranda profile" was where she listed 'nutrition' as a hobby. Kind of put me off!

^I like the skits to a degree - as it shows the 'human' side of these ladies. One of the reasons I do like the VSFS is it's snapshot of backstage and preparation in motion, you get photos during the fashion weeks but nothing like this.

Well yeah, those are definitely the two that excel the most and those are definitely accurate descriptions of the others .

^I'm only really au fait with the Marvel girls (as oppose to D.C) but - and I've no idea why I've retained this information - "officially" She-Hulk is supposed to be 6'7", so that chart is a bit generous! I can't see (my personal favourite) Rogue being anywhere near that tall either. I think the artist got carried away with the Amazonian aspect!

Yeah, I knew she was supposed to be tall but strangely enough it was the Wonder Woman at seven feet that alarmed me enough to ask since I've seen her stand up next to other characters that don't seem to be towering over others that much in their everyday life that is. I wasn't alarmed by the six footers thinking they were going for model tall but just slightly taller or something. Thanks for setting all that straight though .

I must admit the win to fail ratio is neck and neck for me on both ends (that is average citizen vs. average designer, casting agent or model fan). At least I'm all on board with the a fashion person's do not want for Kylie Biscuits, but on the other hand I'm equally on board with the average citizens do not want for Abbey Lee Kershaw at the same time, so I can relate to both sides. The model search was definitely a waste of time in any case though obviously.

Hey there fellow fan I´ve never been really interested in her love life - aside from the fact that it´s purely her business, it´s also very private and... well, it seems really wrong to me when someone goes around sticking nose into things that are out of her/his business and plus giving moral stories when he / she does not like what he / she sees... oh hell *sigh* these things give me headache.
