There´s always some excuse to diss. We have a saying here in Slovakia, that goes something like this - The one who wants to hit a dog, will find a stick to do it.

As for the medals thing, I think I got most of them for contributions to the Candice thread - you know, back before she became ubiquitous.

Great saying too! have you another fav ones? I also like this one (not sure if I write it right) - The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

I actually feel sorry for Candice being so overhelmingly popular... it makes her more bad than good I guess? I´d love her to quit VS and focus on HF work - I love her runway pictures and ads and mostly all of her editorials - she really can do her job. Her fans just put me off... and VS pics in which she tries so hard she knows better

3. Ah, good old bluestars. He's definitely an interresting member. He contributes a lot of pics in the GBA and Other Women areas, is not afraid to embark on a philosophical discussion on one hand and on the other hand isn't afraid to let those knuckles drag a bit too. Its kindof awkward to express how funny I think it is at the time I guess due to the fact that its a mostly female forum, it was meant in all sincerity and its happened a lot, but it doesn't make it any less funny.

As a result, I am forced to visit the thread from time to time to check for either disputes and other things. On one of my trips the word goddess was said a couple times on the same page, but I found some funny ones for my trouble.

^I think it's mainly VS's fault. Evidently they're learnt nothing by thrusting Adriana in our faces previously - until everyone (aside from her hardcore fans) were sick to death of her and started to react negatively. Witness the latest VS Pressroom 'Swim' set - 14 pictures, 7 of which are Candice. :| The latest catalogue has (probably) the most pictures I've ever seen with Behati - but it's still scrambling for space alongside the rest of the rabble at The Candice Show.

I know they're trying to make certain "Angels" into brand names a la Heidi and Tyra - but she is not (and nor are Adriana or Ale, not matter how hard some might think they are) Heidi or Tyra. 'Big' and shouty might not be the way to everybody's hearts - but they obviously have more in their cannon than that (megalomania and sheer force of will?). Candice is a sweet girl who takes good photos in little clothing, but not to everybody - people have different tastes and like variety.

I think this would happen to any girl they would be pushing so hard - like you said, people like diversity and the same thing over and over becomes boring, and finally people get angry when all you see and hear around this forum is "Candice is perfect!" "Candice is perfect" and once again "Candice is perfect!" - in case we still haven´t noticed.

And yes, they will never be like Tyra or Heidi. No matter how much the company will advertise the woman, it needs attitude, character, some kind of... different manner if you know what I mean. You can´t create something like them - it just happens.

But every HF pic of Candice is giving me hope and kills that many silly fans she has and VS trying to ruin her successful carrier She shows she can do them both - HF and commercial, and that´s great.

It's a little like closing the door after the horse has long bolted. <_< Didn't send me an e-mail or anything either, this just turned up when I went on to their site today. So I have 2 weeks notice or most of the images I've put on Bellazon will disappear unless I pay them. Shitty behaviour I think...

I've been using Photobucket for a few months now though since ImageShack kept making things more difficult to use - so I suppose I should have seen this eventuality coming? It's not the cost that's bothering me, just the tactics. Any suggestions? it's a lot of posts to rectify.

Can't say it doesn't bite the big one here considering many of the older images i have stored here are the ones i want to keep. I guess ImageShack is trying to catch people with there pants down in regards to possibly losing pics if they don't upgrade, nice tactic on there part. Bad way to get us to shake our wallets clean though. Oh well, guess i shall move to another storage site.

^Yes, if they had done this another way I'd be more inclined to stick with them and pay. But there's been no previous warning, or any suggestion, that if you went over 500 you'd be 'pushing your luck'. As I said, I joined up to them when I first started posting stuff here - and that was roughly 4 years ago, so they've had ample opportunity to tell me... Trying to rectify 8000 Bellazon posts will be a pain in the arse though!
