^I'd give that song a go, certainly - it's nice...
Spirited Away is wonderful isn't it (like all those Studio Ghibli films)? I know I take the piss out of the *cough* unicorn
thing, but done right this sort of whimsy is beautiful. I don't know much Japanese music outside of 'J-Pop', the great Shonen Knife, and that aping of "far out" '60s rock styles that led to bands like Happy End...
Need to check that song at home!
Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki just hell KNOW how to do a great film. I love every and each one I´ve seen from them
the music, the characters, the story - everything is simply perfect. Those are dreams told and alive, and they really live ever after ![]()
Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away and Mononoke Hime are three movies that stole my heart and soul. Not even my beloved Disney can challenge them. They are deep without trying to be deep, sad without trying to be sad and so real while being fantasies. Pure whow.
When I find some Japanesse chanson I will send it to you asap!

Ok B, so I was able to find two versions of the Spirited Away song, here it´s by some english speaking singer:
And this should be the original:
uncomparable, isn´t it?

And while we´re at the Ghibli... this is from Howl´s Moving Castle

^Unfortunately I don't have access to this Sky Atlantic channel, which is now showing more Partridge. Given it's name, it seems strange that his appearances should now be confined to this exclusive channel. But that's fucking Murdoch for you!!!
Maybe this is the push I need to finally give audiobooks a go? I guess though the only time I'd be inclined to listen would be on a long journey, which would probably be in public. Ever been listening/watching something with earphones on and started laughing surrounded by people who have no idea what's going on?!! It's pretty embarrassing.
Ah yes, I know the feeling all too well. To be honest, even a mildly amusing thought can be all it takes to set me off.
But it's always worse when you're in a public place. ![]()
It seems I've got a lot of Partridge-related catching up to do as well. I still haven't managed to catch the 'Places of My Life' documentary, or the one-off book review show that's currently doing the rounds. There's a mock-webcam radio show airing at the moment too, but as far as I can tell it's just made up of clips from the 'Mid Morning Matters' series shown on YouTube a while back.
"Bill Oddie is alive and well... well, he's alive." ![]()

^Actually, that second one was the one I watched again yesterday to reacquaint myself with the film's soundtrack...Ok B, so I was able to find two versions of the Spirited Away song, here it´s by some english speaking singer:
Don't think this gives you any sort of Carte Blanche to start up with all that fairy nonsense again though dear Jennka!!! ![]()
omg I want to watch Spirited Away so much now.
I downloaded The Secret World of Arrietty in Japanese(much better than the English one, as always) and I loved it.
but Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle are the best!
Oh! Oh! And Kiki ![]()

Amgio quick question. I remember you mentioned some travels to Mexico before while you had your stay in Albuquerque. By any chance...did u eve visit Ensenada, Mexico?

And what is this The Secret World of Arrietty??

The only person who could truly appreciate this ![]()
He looks so ronery :'(

^Her personal life is her own, of course. I mean, if she tweets something about it fine - other than that... But, ugh, her thread is becoming tiresome in that respect. I don't even recognise it anymore. I think I need a swift moratorium. Let them faff about for a while on their own - it's not as if they care about her actual modelling anymore anyways!I think you´re having enough with this Adam nonsense, I would be a monster to tease you with those "creatures of magic forest" here
but while speaking about Adam... during that time Bregje was filming with him that Phonecall videoclip, I was like "oh my god, please Bregje, do NOT date this guy!!" and THEN I come here just to find that Behati does
it was like a slap in the face lol.
But nothing lasts for eternal! We still do have hope
I knew it would end this way...
¡Ciao!
