^Yes, I had a couple of Korean-American girls stay at my old apartment learning spanish a few years ago. They were both gorgeous...

There is lot of the eyelid op going on in the main. Although there's also "boob jobs" a-plenty in this field.

There are 'Korean- dominated' nightclubs in the city. The top 10% of women hanging out there are so good looking that they make the other 90% look pretty unattractive by comparison. Overall, Korean women have a higher hit to miss ratio than the other asians. They have more of the taller, pale skinned types.

Ohh how ironic it is for me to stumble on the above...I was having that talk with a bud on Skype yesterday. Just came out of the blue...as to the "HIT or MISS" with Korean/Asian women. I feel like such a douchebag for even contemplating such a theory but is it just me or does the phrase "HIT or MISS" have some validity to it? (in the club at the most). To be blunt and honest...I too noticed this when going to a few clubs in the Los Angeles region and for those who don't know, there is a HUGE and wonderful Asian community here. Of course all this is just conjecture and I don't want to ever down play the beauty that Asian women have to offer as a whole. But I just noticed the above phrase with Asian women then let's say Caucasian women, or those of Latin American countries.

Well, there's invariably a few that look like this and they hang out together:

Overall, like in Europe (w/northern women and the balkans), a lot of good looking asians come from the northern regions. Either yellow like Liu Wen or pale like the above. They are generally either from certain parts of china or south korea. So it's a select bunch..

Evening Baron! Is it my own obliviousness or have you have you been away for a little while? Either way, it's good to see you back.

Anyway, I'm leaving you some music of the female garage-blues-rock duo variety. Thought it might be as much to your liking as it is to mine. Play loud!

^I did (with headphones)! Interesting drumming-technique - lying across them after each flourish. Always amazed at how much noise two people can make - good noise too. (Y)

No, you weren't spacing out - I was away. Enjoying the European Cup in Spain. Frankly they rode their luck until the final - not that any Spaniard was having that! Despite being surrounded I was (quietly ) routing for Portugal in the semi there, as my friends and family just seemed to suppose that Spain should win the whole thing (plus I acquired a soft-spot for Coentrão). At least the Portuguese attacked! Couldn't argue with last night's performance though - kind of wish I'd stuck around, but the semi win ended up being "heavy" enough! :x

^Curiously, they met in a California needlework class, where they discovered a mutual love of crocheting and blues. I'm also reliably informed that they've supported Eagles of Death Metal a couple of times in the States. There's only a couple of tracks doing the rounds at the moment, but I'll be watching them with interest - I've rather missed the combo of vocal howl and primitive drums since The White Stripes called it a day and The Black Keys branched out into a slightly more refined sound.

Good idea heading to Spain for the Euros, where it's safe from Mark Lawrenson. If only someone at the BBC would tell him that travelling the world and being paid to watch football is actually a brilliant job. I thought the tournament was really quite good this year, despite a couple of dud games in the knockout stages. Spain's performance in the final was such a massive improvement from previous games that I was starting to think they were hustling us.

^I've often wondered how much trickery was involved with The Tings Tings? But they can make a good (albeit slightly different genre-wise) racket too.

Funny I haven't come across them before though, as I'm an Eagles' fan.

^ Yes! I got to enjoy endure him for the final itself though since I'd come back. Miserable sod. At least in Spain you get the charms of "ace pundit and sports reporter" Sara Carbonero:

What ever happened to the Ting Tings - are they still around? I really liked their first album. I heard the first single from their follow up, which was a bit lackluster, and never really heard of anything since

Hard to go past Sleigh Bells for an awesome noisy duo too

^She married the national team's goalkeeper too, but she's been a fixture on Spanish TV for years. You have to admire the southern European approach to sports punditry (or just TV reporting in general): why bother with boring old ex-pros and established presenters when you can have hot women instead? By all accounts she knows what she's on about though, it's not just mere eye-candy.
