^ I'm already half a bottle down in a combination of rain and visiting family members. That was supposed to see me through until Christmas (when another will be duly along!), but that 'aint gonna happen now.
Oh well, es lo que hay - have to put my hand in my pocket again.
Ha, I guess I shouldn't be too quick to judge the warmer weather then. Might just keep my spirit levels high...and I'm not talking on the holly side of things here
Hmmm, and me thinks that you should hide the bottles when family is at the doorstep. Nothing greedy about making sure you have a nice drink at the end of a long day when the cold winds are howling outside!
So what's up next on the bottle list for purchase amigo?

LOL @ the Spacey, Travolta and Cruise thing
. I'm assuming that I know those other three by face and just not by name. You may not believe this, but I've never seen the Queer eyes show either
. I think I may have asked someone this question before, but I figured you might have a perspective from some places I haven't been. Why do you think it is that people explain the blonde craze as blonde hair being more rare than brown and black even though red hair is the most rare and is not nearly as popular? I've always found that to be strange, but then I guess it is just a random statement used to confirm what someone wants to think I suppose.

Discussing Marxism is not an easy thing to do anyway

I'm still interested in hearing about this......![]()

Hey B, where are thou??

Baron, I heard this and thought of you.
It's not a cover of the classic tune from the 1950s but a rather good slice of lo-fi pop, which to my ears sounds not unlike Felt and The Stone Roses...

And no, I haven´t seen the pics, I have seen the trailer but what still worries me is the fact that they really put Legolas in it? Still haven´t read the book either
Everyone says it´s worth it. What do you think B?
I hope that this Tom guy is pretty awesome?
with or without the beard

My stylist told me people with oval faces (she was referring to myself) can wear many different hairstyles than other types.

Well, it's now empty after a wild and windy few nights (plus 'Guy Fawkes' night which is fireworks and - for me anyway - sausages, toffee apples and cider: REAL cider) which almost begs to be topped off with a wee dram...
Next, ah but for Christmas, it has to be my favourite: Caol Ila. (Y) How's yours going?

^What exactly do you want to know - as I presume you're completely au fait with it's genesis and usage? Yes, your points are salient - Argentina was built on those economies, and populated by a poor immigrant workforce from (mainly) Italy and Spain. My family are leftist, and my grandparent's generation were very much 'union' men and women. It's a way of life for me (and Argentina generally), union leaders are an integral part of the political scene and influence government - we strike, A LOT! They are courted vociferously at election times.
I don't think Marxism and Socialism elsewhere necessarily has to devolve into Maoist China.
Have you seen this Baron? ![]()

^I've always thought so too!Where do you get all these gifs, Baron? Somehow, your collection is better than the others.
And yet only the other day I read Joe saying that Layla was the best BZ emoticon user - a snub, I'm sure! What do I have to do to please you Joe?!?!

^Just to clarify, this was "lost in translation". To me a stylist is that freeloader who hangs about fashion shoots and says 'Lose the necklace, add two more bracelets - MORE LILAC' and zhooshes peoples sleeves up and down. They have asymmetric hair-dos and wear ineffectual tiny scarves. They also put extra letters or suffixes into/onto their given names is an inane attempt to appear more interesting - like 'Jjohnn' or 'Qarl'.^You have a stylist?!?!My stylist told me people with oval faces (she was referring to myself) can wear many different hairstyles than other types.

Mr. Icon, of course, meant what to me is a hairdresser.

^Being freelance now, naturally I'm not a 'union man'. And my grandfather is long retired. I remember my family often going on marches though, demonstrations and rallies - for workers' rights. As for Unions- I personally have no idea what a 'union' family is like, even though I have met people who say that they have 'union' traditions. It's a dominant feature of a much older generation for me. It's interesting to hear you say that your family was "leftist", because I personally can't characterize my family as particularly political.
But my chief question is this: How does the modern 2012 Argentinian Marxist , liberal, and Socialist think? What are they angry about, and what are they happy about?
The current government is, in essence, a leftist party (it's an offshoot of Juan Peron's Justicialist - there're a few derivations of this, such is his legacy) - but the true socialist party is, well, Partido Socialista ('The Socialist Party'!) and they are the biggest opposition although they garnered less than 20% of the last election. The modern history of Argentina is a succession of social democratic parties squabbling for a few decades and then a brutal right-wing military junta taking over for a few years when the economy goes down the pan. Repeat.
Same as anywhere else in the world, major concerns are keeping contracts 'in house', being self-reliant, and the relative import/export taxation levies.
^I love how quickly they start to squabble and the whole thing gets bogged down by a really niche and pointless subject!Have you seen this Baron?
^You're too good for us, Princess!^I've always thought so too!Where do you get all these gifs, Baron? Somehow, your collection is better than the others.

There's enough of my praise to go around
! Best user of default emoticons on one side and best pesonalized emoticons on the other side

That's interresting to hear about the Slovakian guys. I know you are equal opportunity Baron even though you say they get chased down the street in your hometown by contrast. Despite watching a lot of BBC, its never been clear to me where the UK stands on the issue though. Over here, blonde (even obviously fake blonde) is far and away more popular than the others. Brown and jet black are probably its closest competitors here despite competing for distant second. If I'm not mistaken, blond is more popular in a lot of latin and Asian countries too which I find to be a shame because to me their natural hair is better than when they die it. You might find this strange too that over here, a lot of redheads are made fun of during their school years because of their hair color
. The ones here that love it seem to really love it whereas the ones that hate it seem to really hate it. The sentiment of brown and black on the other hand seems to range more from really love to indifferent or at least I've never heard of anyone saying they hate it unlike the other two. There's an interresting trend right now of blonde actresses going red (Hendricks and the True Blood girl) likeley because with there being so many blondes (aside from most actresses now being the same size too) it gives them a way to stand out. I don't understand 'hating' any although all things being equal I tend to prefer natural jet black, but I don't recall ever selecting a mate based on hair color anyway
. I don't even think there's a correlation between haircolor and my favorite models now that I think about it.

Well, a good blonde hair color is not too easy to get, that's why I don't dye my hair, nature gave me a nice colour
or colours, cause depending on the season it slightly changes. Although I noticed something weird-lately, my hair got lighter
and it usually goes darker for autumn/winter. Hmm... and there's really nothing that could influence that...
Leighton Meester is a natural blonde too, but she looks MUCH better with any other colour. Same goes with Emma Stone. I'd mention Lindsay Lohan but she's too much of a mess right now to be considered attractive in well... any cicumstances ![]()
I have a friend who, when I first met her I thought she was a natural redhead but later she showed me photos of her with her natural blonde hair and she looked so washed out...

^Yeah, Elvis was blond too - hard to imagine really. Who knows if he'd have been so iconic without the hair-dye? I wonder how popular Candice would be if she went back to (her natural) brunette and laid off the tanning for a while... ![]()
^No, that happens in Argentina and the UK too. Redheads are the last persecuted people; racial and religious slurs are no longer tolerated and you can't even poke fun at a person's weight anymore, yet you can laugh at "gingers" and nobody will stop you. <_<You might find this strange too that over here, a lot of redheads are made fun of during their school years because of their hair color
.
"Hendricks and the True Blood girl" are, coincidentally, two of my favourite (read: hottest) TV actresses. I suppose I should care if collars and cuffs match, but I know that I don't! ![]()
