As you know firsthand, they not only give more credit to the thieves, but sometimes in the same thread .

Yeah, that is interresting about the consistency of the production values . LOL @ the 'bloke scientist' . Looks good to me . It is interesting that they are going with a more adult oriented approach when I must admit the PG oriented approach of the other one was part of what I found somewhat refreshing. That's not to say I find that mandatory as I enjoy American Horror Story ect. I don't know if you like detective shows or not, but have you by any chance seen any of the Elementary series? I'm still not slightly on the fence about the Sherlock. I am closer to like than dislike

and he's definitely a more believable Sherlock than Downey

, even though Downer is good at everything else

. I think their attempt to make him 'modern' (in this case an arrogant, antisocial recovering drug addict) might have taken away of some of the charm that makes him interesting to me at least. I do love Liu as Watson though and like more than half of the episodes I've seen so far. As to Merlin too, I am still glad that its still going on. Over here, it debuted on a major network and was originally cancelled after a few episodes and I assumed I'd never see it again, so I'm glad its still around unlike some other shows that got cancelled without any closure .

^I can't take to this new Primeval at all - I appreciate the myriad financial aspects as to why this may have happened, but all the 'lore' appears to have been jettisoned (admittedly I have only watched eps 1&2 of the new show) and all those threads are now lost.

Also, the acting seems really bad...

Oh, and I fully expected to hate Elementary but would persevere due to Lucy Liu - but it turns out I quite enjoy it!

It should be noted that the opening 'New World' episode did seem rather light on the original show's fun factor. In fact, the only time I can remember there being any humour in it was when Connor was onscreen. But I'm about half a dozen episodes in now and I think it's slowly developing that same feel as when the old team were starting out, with the cast growing into their roles bit by bit. Hopefully we do get a series 2 and perhaps a few more UK cast members (by 'UK cast members' I of course mean Hannah Spearritt ) appearing.

I have to say, when I first read about another modern day Holmes vehicle being produced so soon after the BBC's 'Sherlock' I thought "oh god, I'm going to hate this" - but I haven't been so pleasantly surprised by a show since, well, 'Sherlock'. This one is more of an adaptation of the character to modern times than a retelling of the original stories with a modern twist - which in my book means there's room for both. Having Lucy Liu around is a good thing too.

Did you ever catch the BBC version on your side of the pond, Joe?

For some reason video downloading isn't working for me, but either way I need to catch up on this new Primeval since Baron heard second hand and is already ahead of me .

It is kindof strange sometimes for some threads when you've been there from the beginning and they go down a path you never would have expected . Its also amazing to see the different extremes. Some have the psychos (Adriana, Candice ect.), some the totalitarian rule and others the seemingly mindless spam drones as you mentioned.

Being in VS does definitely bring accessibility. You don't have to worry about trying to scan this or track down that. A big part of the reason a lot of threads get buried is that people can't find pics easily and before you know it, the threads pretty much lost in the shuffle.

It seems the network is doing all they can for Elementary having it follow the Super Bowl even (although the power outage during the game might have nullified the benefit seeing as how it made the game and postgame stay on longer as a result ). I hope it sticks around because I seem to have the misfortune of getting into shows that don't make it (like The Cape ) but I think this one will. I haven't seen the BBC Sherlock actually. I think I might very well have a BBC channel too, but I thought it was for news initially seeing as how my BBC radio station is all news. I'll have to check that out again and see if they have a showing on there.

For some reason, my gifs suddenly don't move, so I had to edit my original response to that . That is an interesting move though . I remember one time some of my female friends took me on a 'surprise' outing to help me get over a breakup and the girls there could do some pretty remarkable things. They were more dancers than strippers though and it didn't have the whole money throwing and guys howling type thing. Good food too.

I definitely prefer the original so far, but I'll probably stick with the first season at least as long as its free .

'Can you?' Sure thing ! The question is, how much ?! How many men can take their own insecurities and turn them into a super powered suit anyway? The answer is not many.

The Prettiest Famous Women to Never Give Me an ErectionTurn Me On

Related at another time: 'Greatest One Hit Wonders (of Sexiness)' and 'Models That Make My Blood Boil With Their Sexiness' . The ugliest women to turn me on was omitted seeing as how I'm not looking to either bead the dead butterface horse or patronize too much in that way at least.

I've been aroused by a cool breeze. These women have managed to be beaten by a cool breeze despite their beauty. There's also some women who I deem as one hit wonders as I'm not into them in general, but they did one hot thing and never repeated. That's its own list though, here are these...

10. Ashley Greene

Why: Just find her to be an actress with a long, bland face and to my knowledge nothing else particularly memorable either.

General Feelings: Indifferent

9. Natalia Vadionova

Why: I've always liked some of her editorials and technically been a fan of her as a result despite not being attracted to her. Despite that, she looks somewhat terrified a lot of the time (which actually enhanced the editorials that called for it) like she was maybe modeling because her family was held hostage by the mob or something. That's not to make light of said situation or to say that it hasn't happened to someone anyway. That said, its somewhat of a detractor from one's sensuality anyway.

General Feelings: Fan of her work and don't know anything else about her so she's cool with me.

8. Hilary Duff

Why: Maybe because when she decided to destroy her own career by abandoning her primary fan base (little girls) in favor of trying to be sexy, her looks changed somehow. I'm not sure how to explain it, but her face got really long or something, not sure. She also tried a bit too hard on top of that and obviously wasn't sexy before so, there we are.

General Feelings: She's one of the least talented celebrities of all time, but since she was never a tabloid queen or child stat train wreck, I have to give her credit for that much. I'm indifferent overall though.

7. Jessica Stam

Why: Not sure. She's one of my favorite editorial models of all time and doesn't even really have to change her facial expression to connect with the camera. In contrast to the previous two, actually like her face. Warranted she doesn't have a knockout body by any means, but I do like her face and she isn't unsensual by any means.

General Feelings: Like her face a lot, love her editorials. Fan status.

6. Cameron Diaz

Why: Not sure. She's cute enough and seems to have personality to spare and I imagine her being great fun and all. Maybe its too much personality? Who knows, but then I have been turned on by some with as much anyway. Its worth mentioning that Charlie's Angels is the only thing I've seen her in and she was my least favorite character in that although I didn't dislike the

character particularly.

General Feelings: Not sure

5. Liv Tyler

Why: Well, she's definitely unique looking, has a pleasant voice and really smooth skin. She's obviously not particularly gifted in the body department, but that's not necessary to be sexy by any means. Actually, she did almost get there when she spoke in elven, but I was surrounded by dudes at the time which kindof neutralized its affect . Maybe if I hear it not being surrounded by a bunch of dudes, she would be taken off the list. That and if the second hottest thing she ever did (stripping the Crazy video) wasn't somewhat neutralized by her dad singing in the background simultaneously. Maybe that was a bit too all in the family for me. Love the song and video though.

General Feelings: You know what? She's cool with me anyway.

4. Jordanna Dunn

Why: Well, she's cute but looks kindof like a little girl for the most part and since she never shows any skin, its not even make me feel guilty status.

General Feelings: Never went out in my way to follow her work, but she's pretty solid on the runway and above average in editorials so no problem with her.

3. Emily Dedonato

Why: Although her eyes and lips are the only features I particularly like (well, she has smooth skin too), its enough to be attracted to her. Despite that, she's never sealed the deal somehow. Maybe its the girliness combined my frustration with her lack of modeling skill? Not sure. *edit* Updated to everything she did before SuperRDF's sig.

General Feelings: You know what? I got love for Lil' Em'ly.

2. Emma Stone

Why: She has big eyes with an amazing shape and (though I prefer more memorable lips) isn't particularly flawed in the other aspects of her face. I don't know what her body looks like at all, but as I said, it isn't mandatory to be sensual. She just seems to me to have absolutely no sex appeal even despite her beauty and doesn't seem particularly interesting in general based on what I've seen. She seems like she's probably a nice person though. Overall, she should probably be the mascot of this list as she's probably the farthest way but yet one of the prettiest at the same time.

General Feelings: Indifferent

1. Aishwarya Rai

Why: Not sure. I do like her face. She has big eyes with amazing shape, a beautiful smile, beautiful lips, a pleasant voice and really full, healthy hair. Her body is probably below average, but that's not the issue. She's also not unsensual, so that's not it either.

General Feelings: Love her face and haven't seen her in anything, so not sure.

I´ve read it all but I have no idea what to say. My mind has gone numb for the last two weeks.

Hopefully comfortably numb at least . If not' date=' I hope all gets settled .

It has, for now It seems I can think clearly again

I read the last list and mostly agree - besides Liv Tyler, she was astonishing in LOTR (you SHOULD see it without that bunch of dudes ) and I also loved her in Onegin. She has this fairy-like beauty

Plus, Natalia V, my eternal princess, and Emily DIdonato - her eyes are one of the most beautiful things I´ve seen in my life. She´s like a living mermaid!

She's definitely got pretty eyes and lips as well and has indeed (during the specified timeline after the edit) given me the butterflies anyway. Interestingly enough though, to me Stone has the prettiest eyes in the group and has never come close to turning me on or giving me butterflies either . With the Liv thing, that should have read, 'surrounded by dudes and children' . I've long meant to watch LOTR on my own, but I somehow feel as though I have to go big or go home (as in power through the whole thing) and haven't found the time to watch a trilogy of anything or even too many whole (non theatre) movies in the same day in general. Generally if I were to find that kindof time alone indoors, hatching plots in my lair sleep, writing or reading would take precedence, although I could find that one scene though .

Its a joy that many neglect, but is great fun indeed . Of course I still write ! How can someone who spins random essays two minutes apart keep away ? My dream would be to illustrate stories although I'm not nearly as good at drawing. I am naturally above average at it though and could probably improve with some work and tutorials.

^I had a MASSIVE crush on Cameron circa 1996/7 - honestly, in films like Feeling, Minnesota, The Last Supper, Head Above Water, She's The One (she made a succession of "indie" films after her breakthrough in The Mask to hone her craft, having come straight from modelling with no training, until her move to the big time with My Best Friend's Wedding where - incidentally - they had to make-under her so she wouldn't look better than Julia Roberts!) I thought she was the most attractive thing in the world ever... Sadly I think she went downhill pretty quickly, and became a bit of a 'bobble-head' that so many actresses fall prey to (becoming too skinny so the head looks too big for the body), but she retains the charm she had back then - that "fun" aspect that doesn't seem false or forced.

Actually, funny you mention Charlie's Angels as despite my huge fondness for her only a few years previous I found her the least attractive of the three in that too!

I don't think I could limit my list of the aforementioned either; I'm constantly bamboozled by what people tell me I should be finding attractive (indeed it's often a sure-fire way to make me not like someone, but that's my contrariness!) - and it's only on rare occasions that me and the populace become simpatico (Rosie winning all those polls last year, although that was down to robots and not her).

When you mention this... I saw The Mask yesterday in TV after looong long time, and I suddenly realized how much did I love her when I saw it for the first time. She was utterly beautiful, like a dream... then, just like you said, it went downhill so fast and now I just can´t. She became so skinny and when I saw her in Charlies Angels I just shook my head. I thought, where the hell has that beauty gone.

Plus, I could not stop thinking how much she reminded me of Candice!

Anyway, are those things some sort of super-sperm???

I took a look at some of that older footage and can see what you guys mean about the prior beauty as her body definitely went better with her head . That is good that she seems to have maintained the fun type personality though.

I'll have to show you some and need to get back to those tutorials and show you those too.
