Candice still seems too young to me... I mean, psychically. Almost every girl I´ve seen in her age tries so hard on pictures - especially those who think they´re pretty and she is - pretty.

Magdalena is a different level. She has this seductive presence that is all around her not even talking about how wonderful she is.

It seems Candice looks like something stinks whereas the other looks like she's 'I'm still a model' . I would have thought it would be natural to both since they've been doing it so long, but I guess for some its natural in general.

I haven't visited their threads until recently...the generic VS photos served to keep me away

There are others from this stunning photoshoot, but I have discovered that Candice looks much better on the set than in airbrushed photos. I don't know exactly why, but after viewing a lot of them..I find that she does. She has unusually flawless skin and a very 'different' bone structure, particularly the waist and the hips.

I don't really like her face that much to be honest. It's pretty enough... but not beautiful to me and without much personality.

Mag looks nearly cartoonish..like a human doll to me. :-p

I really rather like Freja but in a 'queen of cool' kind of way, as opposed to 'wow she's so hot'. Her smoky-eyed, rebellious spirit puts me in mind of a young Patti Smith.

Freja reminds me a little of Rachel McAdams & Kate Beckinsale... but Freja's face is more beautiful to me. I think she's a really good model who can pull of many different looks but her sickly, boney candid photos and lesbian shoots she's been doing for the past 6 months made me lose interest in her work.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the GAP advertisement was 'Who is this model?!! I must know!' She was so highly expressive...w/ comforting eyes, high cheekbones and a long forehead ...totally ideal for opera or a Kabuki play..

I do see a little of the 'rebel' in her as well, though. But rebel without a cause or a rebel with one? I remember being called a 'Rebel with a cause' by an old man but I never figured out the content of his reasoning.

I see 'dyke' as a neutral term for a lesbian. Is it used differently in Boston? :-)

I'll stop if it bothers you.

it's not neutral it's more derogative.

Thank you

Ophelia, I've seen lesbians parade with signs referring to themselves as 'Dykes'. As a non-lesbian, perhaps I am not part of this inner circle!

It depends on the person I guess. Forget I mentioned it, I don't want to cause a debate lol.

Hey, don't worry, Ophelia, I appreciate you for bringing it up. I thought that it was a colloquial term but it's clearly not..elsewhere.

It's just like something you don't call someone that they don't willingly call themselves, is all.

I've been using TFS to survey post-2003 modeling work of my favorite models..It's fun, and very interesting for me since I've only seen photos from post 2010

Sadly this will fly over the heads of many.

It's all becoming clear to me now. Cobra Commander is the 3rd anti-christ Nostradamus was warning us about. My sincerest apologies to our current president, puppet and overlord Obama.

I agree with you that Candice looks much, much, much better in these candids from photoshoots than in actual airbrushed pics... she has great skin, great figure. I´m always fascinates by her candids - she is perfect in them.

And hey, I never knew this "dyke" word... thanks for enlightening me

How do you feel about 'lookalikes' though ? I guess whether they even are is a case by case basis though. There was a Behati lookalike, but I forgot her name. Of course, they're at a disadvantage not having the uniqueness factor or appeal of the 'original' and on top of that, probably have to be extra good to overcome the annoyance of the comparissons and debates about whether they do or how much they do or which one is or isn't better .

*edit*

Here's one I meant to see if you liked. http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=28699

^Well from that evidence I should say I like her a lot!

I don't recall a Behati 'lookalike' - although that may be that some people said she was and I disagreed and put it right out of my head! Please have a think and get back to me as my curiosity is piqued once more...

Joe, what are you talking about? Behati has no lookalike, because everyone looks like / resembles Adriana!!! Learn it!!

^Thirded. I have no idea how the in-house VS air-brusher/photo-shopper person is still in gainful employment.

^Going on watching recent news items on the Republican 'primaries', I'd rather CC than Rick Santorum.

I hope we are talking season one Cobra commander and not the " I'm really a human like snake man" version they did in later seasons.

" Om really q human like snake man"
^ ?

We didn't have the G.I.Joe cartoon in either Argentina or the UK (I think it was maybe a little too jingoistic!), but I did read the Marvel comic occasionally. I thought he was just some beatnik under all that crap:

ccblz04.jpg

Either way, still preferable to Santorum!

Oh, and I think "dyke" is a reclaimed term like "fag" - it's offensive anyway, so I'd steer clear of it...
