Well, east is relative of course. Actually, I consider Japan to be to the west ironically . I did know those from the first list, though I need to look up those new wave ones .
^They're the directors. Although even mentioning these films would seem a bit hackneyed and obvious, if you haven't seen them I'd watch Jules Et Jim and

Speaking of directors, when you brought up that Adriana quote about best director, you reminded me of this Emily Dedinato quote that really took me aback in a simular way. When asked about what kind of music she likes, she said something like...

"I guess Dave Mathews Band, Rhihanna, Gaga, just whatever's popular right now."

 :|

^ Joe, on contrary I saw Frida Gustavsson's interview on Fashion TV when she was asked about what kind of music she likes to listen to, and walk down the catwalk, and from what I remember, about catwalk music, she said 'preferably rock.... as long as it's not Rihanna I'm ok with the music' (I might have twisted her words, but Rihanna was definitely mentioned)

Ingredients are rather simple-flour, sugar, eggs, milk, butter, egg yolks, something for frying, a bit of alcohol (spirit).... and of course, caster sugar to sprinkle when everything's done.

And about west/east thing, we (in Poland I mean) prefer to be called a central-eastern European country, not eastern :persuazn: I wonder if it's similar in Slovakia (Jennka?)

^Oh my!

It's not my birthday until March - I hope she'll keep?

Like me and my typos. It is my calling card. I do it on purpose. Yeah....that's it. (Passer B, you think.anyone will buy that?)

I've never been a fan of her, but she does have a funny quote from time to time. As a side note, I must admit that in general life, rock fans have annoyed me more than pop fans since at least I've never had a pop fan dictate to me that pop is the 'best' music the way some of them tend to. Pop is just more fun to make fun of . Then on the other hand mainstream rock (that isn't mostly pop based) to me is headed to the same path that R&B has.

To me, the problem wasn't as much who it was as much as the "pretty much whatever's popular right now" part . I guess just the basicness of it.

Speaking of music though, there's a classical song I was trying to get identified, but its hard to write out the melody .

^Even a cunning linguist such as I can't decipher "Passer B" Lu?!?!

But, yes, you've managed to make (through relentless execution) your elaborate typos quite endearing!

^Oh, me too - I have no affiliation to Emily! I just meant 'shut up if you don't have an answer'. It does smack of supreme falseness doesn't it?

As for that tune - can you hum it?

+ I can't remember where and with whom I was talking about John Carpenter's The Thing (apologies! ) - but Pingu's version is a plasticine winner:

I can't listen right now, but that sure is an awesome thumbnail .

Anyway, the tune might be Hayden (excuse spelling) though I guess that might be like saying an 80s metal song might be Megadeath I guess . Here's the best I can do...

do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do- babababa and it contiues like that. I think they might be some kindof flutes maybe .

Erm... I guess I just don´t give a sh thing as I hear people talking about Slovakia, we often call ourselves "The heart of Europe" or central Europe... but I was never really interested in this kind of thing. I´m sorry

Señor Baron, thought I'd share a glass here. Managed to fit in some wine tasting at the end of our weekend here. What a sight for sore eyes

^Mmmm! What was it - are these Californian wineries?

I've been knocking back some Romanian Merlot these last few days. It sounds wrong, I know, but it's not bad at all. One of the good things about visiting Europe is the sheer breadth of wine choice you get. In Argentina, wine imports are so expensive that I stick with local most of the time (not that there's anything wrong with ours! 1062-wine.gif) - but here you can buy decent bottles from all over the world at a decent price.

I hear China (as, seemingly, in all things ) will be the new wine-powerhouse. I haven't had the pleasure yet though, excepting that truly mediocre brake-fluid that gets foisted on you at Chinese restaurants! :yuckky:

Did you guys see the 'Thing' Prequel? I saw it a few weeks ago, and it was good enough, but not great. It's much like the original. ***/***** :-)

What do you guys think of Toni Garrn?
